Great video and detail ironically the hardest part to swapping a blend door is removing that duct work. Anyway thanks a million you and the tubers inspired me to take on and complete this challenge ❤
You are a hero of the diy ford F 150/250 army. Everybody rushed to cut the glove box and the plenum you found the real tough part. A million thanks. BTW I call my wife Mrs. Bear in the morning because she growls just like a bear coming out of hibernation.😶
This video was a life saver! Would have never got that vent out without it. It only took a few awkward angles, several profanities, and the last bit of my patience, but i now have temperature on demand!
I’ve been looking for a video on how to get the floor vent vacuum actuator out. Your video shows everything that needs to be removed in order to accomplish that, so thank you!
@@AlexGonzalez-oc9di The screw was easy and the door comes out the same way...easy. Just pull back the flap on the heater housing, reach in and pull the door from the bottom. It should come right out. It not I think you would need to break the hinged bottom and then pull out.
Man, I’m trying to do this at this very moment and like most things YouTubing it and figuring it out as I go! Thanks for the help! Just wanted to add this is even MORE fun in a 4x4 stick shift! 2 big sticks and shift boots in the way makes ya go 🤬🤬🤬
Haha if you could see the cab of my truck and my fat ass trying to manuever around in it im sure you and your family would laugh your asses off. But i have not fubared my truck thanks to you
So I have a ‘00 f150 and 3 days ago my a/c blew cold air from my vents but this morning it wasn’t blowing air from my vents and only the defroster in front windshield, will the door blend actuator be the cause?
Also I bought the truck with the heater core hoses disconnected and a had a bridge hose connecting from the firewall to the thermostat so I have no hot air

Great Video Thanks for the Help! Most other videos skip the "how to get to it" part but you showed everything needed thanks again.

That'd be the mode door sticking.
So I have the SuperCrew and theres duct work coming up the center and I can't pull the duct out the front what do I do?
I have the same problem
What’s he name of the parts ? Thanks
thanks for this video
What did y’all use to cut it ?
We used a grinder with a cutting wheel on it. If you don’t have a grinder you can use a dremmel tool with a cutting wheel.
Thank you most people just say you move it but don’t say how and it’s a bitch
Good video but you're working on one thing and talking about something else sound is a little off.
