When the Wings scored to make it 7-3 I kinda had a bad feeling that it wasn't going to be an easy Leafs win.

To be fair to Mrazek, he sat for 2 hours then he had to go into a game where the wings were gunning to tie it. He made some nice saves on the penalty kill after Kase scored

That's honestly why I had hope as a wings fan when he came in, that is a really tough position to be thrown in
I actually think by eye test that Mrazek was the best goalie in this game, although that's not a high bar. Also it may be a bit of recency bias since Campbell mostly did do really well until the 3rd (dang-it aside)

Ya he was bad but it’s kinda hard to blame him. He was not expecting to go in when the third started and 5 minutes later he’s in.
I've been to about 40 games in my life and this was the craziest thing I've ever seen. We were down 7-2 and we Made it 7-8. At the end the leaf fans were miserable. They all expected to lose, hell i expected them to lose. I introduced my friend to hockey tonight and I couldn't have picked a better one.

I was at bowling league and keeping an eye on the game. When I left the bowling alley it was 7-2 for the Leafs. When I got home I turned the game on and somehow thought that my body had warped back to 2009 because it said 8-7.

Here's the thing. When it was all coming apart, when the Leafs were literally sick and tired, they never stopped fighting and they got the damned win.
Where to even start, I’ve never seen the Leafs score 10 goals or even all 4 goalies play. It looked like I was watching a chel game with some of those goals. I thought the 8-6 game against Carolina was crazy but this blew that out of the water. I’m concerned about our goaltending but right now I’m just enjoying the win.
Some vibes of that game where Ottawa had the flu and were just stomping the Leafs through 2 periods but by the 3rd they had like 2 defenseman and 4 forwards on the bench

When this score was displayed during intermission at the Kings game, there was an audible murmur from the crowd. Normally you’ll only hear us react to the scores of the Ducks and Sharks games.
I looked down at my phone after waking up from a nap and saw the score was 7-2. Felt good. My gf who knows better says that lead isn’t safe. I laughed and brushed it off but cried internally cause I knew she was right 😭

I have said for several years, no lead is safe with the Leafs on the ice. Until the number of minutes is lower than the number of goals to tie it (assuming the goal number is more than 2), the lead is not safe. It doesn't even matter who's lead it is, it's just straight up not safe.

I got in my car to go to work, and all I heard was 'holeeeey mackinaw....Kase scores! 9 to 7'....And then I heard 'Nice save by Mrazek, well I guess ANY save is a nice one tonight'. 6point night for Marner, and they needed EVERY SINGLE ONE of them.....well they had like one or two to spare, but I don't trust these guys to keep a one goal lead...

no deadline goalie is gonna save this team. i heard a lot of fleury suggestions but he's been bad this year, reimer was like campbell: top 5 through 30 games and fell off a cliff. really all you can do is call up Woll and hope he keeps it to 3 a night.... i'm pretty sure they have ian scott pegged as the future and don't wanna fuck him up sorta like philly did to hart.
