That's funny. I was talking to a friend about an ayahuasca journey I had a couple years ago and I was telling her about this jester trickster type energy that I came across. During my "journey" it was controlling the music that was playing in the background at the retreat. And I was telling my friend today about how I had a horrible migraine during the trip and I was thinking "I wish the music would stop. Why is it so loud." And during the journey this jester energy was showing me through the music being loud- that I need to practice being patient and surrender to things around me, because finding it disruptive was only causing me more pain. In the way that pain exists in the world, but suffering is a choice, and by becoming angry at the music I was making my situation more problematic for myself. And the moment I surrendered the migrsine went away and the music stopped and I thought "oh. So all I had to do was surrender? It was that simple?" And then the same song started up again, and the music spirit (in a smart ass type way) was like "haha sike!" Kind of poking fun at the situation. And anyways, it's just funny this song was suggested to me. And how there's a similar "pause" in the song haha.
Thanks guys this song came along at a turning point. Hearing it again tonight just brings back a flood. That things are now where they should be and it's gonna be ok. Much love and respect.
Keep this raw 90s sound. Stay away from the electronics. Whoever wrote this and move me should stick with these emotions. For our entertainment please traumatize yourself so we can hear your pain .
interesting hearing this song in it's early stages. Definitely didn't have the prowess that it ended up with on the album. They made some really smart tasteful decisions in the studio when they recorded the final version that took the song to a whole new level and made it magical
