This song reminds me of a girl I meet and help long time ago. I was on my way to college class. When I see a girl crying on a corner. I ask her what was wrong and she told me her roommate move out and took all her stuff. All she had was her books, purse and a few dollars bills. I offer to help her till she gets situated and then she can get on her own. She was graceful and thankful and accepted my help. She continued with her college classes I offer her a room at my house for her own self, paid her phone, food to eat, and other small stuff without asking for nothing in return. On her last week of college she finally got her self situated. I got her an airplane ticket to fly back to her parents house. I still remember driving her to the airport and getting her suitcase. At the airport door I give her a good bye hug and she looked at me said thank you and cried. I give her my phone number and address a told her to let me know when she gets to her home to let me know, so I can be happy that she made it home. A day past by, a week pass by, a month past by and time just past by and I never hear from her. Listening to this song takes me back to time and revives my mind of this story that you just read. I never hear from her ever again. Till this day I keep asking my self if she still remembers me on her time of need, when I help her with open arms and nothing in return.
