Looks amazingly natural! Filing the sides is definitely the key. I hate it when press ons are too wide on the side and you can't see the skin side walls because that's a dead giveaway, but yours are perfect-- great job!
Here is a tip for applying press ons with dip base. Put the activator liquid on the underside of press on nail, then when you apply dip base to your natural nail, it bonds almost instantly.
@@NicolesBeautyScene You're welcome! I figured that if you put activator on your nail before dip top coat to make it dry faster, why not try it with a press on nail lol
Thank you for this great tutorial! Both sets were beautiful! I have an expensive air brush, I air brushed clouds ☁️ on my daughter’s bedroom walls years ago, they turned out fantastic! I’m going to have to try it on my nails! Your flower turned out great! There’s lots of methods for blending two or 3 colors for flowers, Donna Dewberry (One Stroke Painting) was the first one I saw years ago! I have some of her kits and practice charts. Having done it quite a bit (not on nails tho 🤪)- a brand new brush so it’s thin at the edge, is key. She has great tutorials!
Finally someone else with big thumbs lol. I am so going to try these. I have yet to find a brand that fit my nails. Thanks for the suggestions. Also are there any stoee bought press ons you find that fit ? I havent had any luck TIA
Team big thumbs!!! I haven’t found any store bought press ons that fit my thumbs! But I haven’t tried that many- I typically do builder gel extension instead!!
Yes you clean the nails after activating and shaping and then so your normal top coating steps. And then clean again once the top coat is dry so you can make sure there’s nothing left on the nails before you apply them!
