Sugar flowers have always been one of the most common decorations used in cake decorating so as a cake decorator, we need to learn how to make sugar roses.
In this tutorial, I show you my way of making quick and easy, realistic fondant roses. Once you get the hang of it, you can use this method to make a single fondant rose in just a few minutes! The sugar rose techniques in this tutorial can also be used with gum paste or modelling chocolate.

I never really liked those HARD sugar rose decorations found in grocery stores. They have a tendency to melt on buttercream frosted cakes...leaving behind horrid colors of dye on the beautiful cake frosting.
Additionally, the "taste" of them are not so great! Tasteless colored SUGAR (no flavor at all). 😞
Now, Because of Yener...I know how to make beautiful "tasty" ROSES!!!

Hi Chef! You mentioned in this video that you made the paddle to shape the rose petals many many years ago. Can you please share how you made it? S it made from acrylic plastic? That paddle can be very very useful! Thank you so much for your wonderful tutorials! I learned a lot!
