Long Gun Scabbard Rear Saddle Mount

From January 2016: Here's the latest and greatest addition to my mounted shooting signature collection! My new long gun rear saddle mount scabbard is made in collaboration with Bianchi Cowboy, the same folks that bring you the best made holsters in the world. It is made to fit a lever action rifle, carbine or shotgun. All one piece, it becomes the off billet to your rear cinch, simply by slipping the tail end through the keeper located on the back of the holster. Why would you want an open bottom scabbard? Seems like a good way to introduce a lot of crud into the barrel and bugger up the crown

This is more for Cowboy Mounted Shooting competition then hunting. The plus though of a open end scabbard is there’s no chance of a dirt doober building a nest in the scabbard and it getting in the barrel without you know it.
