When you asked for a scientist to do a peer review MY HEART SANG, so as a Biochemist, I would love to insert myself. The good news is, everything in the multi-chrome makeup is safe for cosmetic use and can be used as long as you don't have an apparent allergic reaction. The bad news is that some of the listed ingredients in the nail polish are nowhere close to safe and are actually very hazardous. I won't bore you with the nitty gritty details but here's a quick synopsis. While silicon dioxide is safe and aluminum is (arguably) fine the jury is still out on titanium dioxide as it is an active ingredient in sunscreen though it is still considered harmful. Our other friends, ferric oxide and magnesium fluoride, however, are very hazardous according to their material safety data sheets. The ingredients in the makeup, though they share elements with the compounds in the polish, make up (lol) different chemicals that have different properties and therefore react differently (or not at all) with your body. This is why undiluted hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is extremely toxic and corrosive to human skin and mucus membranes and yet dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) is vital to sustaining human life. In conclusion, you can rub this shit all over your entire body, just don't eat or huff it and try not to get a bunch of it in your eyes.

Okay so I decided to challenge my knowledge and answer your question. The makeup powder, has way more stuff in it, and that is because it may be the same basic composition, but if you want to put it on your skin, it has to be gentler that if you’re using it on nails. This is how they are different and why. The makeup has Myristic acid in it, which is commonly used in cosmetic products to hide blemishes, but you don’t need that for your nails. The Titanium Dioxide in the nail powder, is a white pigment and UV filter, so the nail polish doesn’t fade. The Aluminum is a metallic powder, and that is the reason that the nail powder is more shiny, and the makeup powder would be too, but it can be very toxic if absorbed into the skin and can cause a lot of problems, so I think they probably didn’t use pure aluminum, and added some protective substances, and that’s why it’s more cloudy, but I don’t recommend this product. It’s currently very early where I am, so I am going to sleep, but I love your videos and I hope this helps you. If this did, please shout me out, I love your channel! Cheers!

Okay so I decided to challenge my knowledge and answer your question. The makeup powder, has way more stuff in it, and that is because it may be the same basic composition, but if you want to put it on your skin, it has to be gentler that if you’re using it on nails. This is how they are different and why. The makeup has Myristic acid in it, which is commonly used in cosmetic products to hide blemishes, but you don’t need that for your nails. The Titanium Dioxide in the nail powder, is a white pigment and UV filter, so the nail polish doesn’t fade. The Aluminum is a metallic powder, and that is the reason that the nail powder is more shiny, and the makeup powder would be too, but it can be very toxic if absorbed into the skin and can cause a lot of problems, so I think they probably didn’t use pure aluminum, and added some protective substances, and that’s why it’s more cloudy, but I don’t recommend this product.
