    I do yes! Our Country ran better with him in power in my opinion. We didn't have to bring it home. We were already there. What I find very ironic of this Federal Government is that our leader claims to be a feminist , yet in Iran look at the unbelievable atrocities women are subjected to. The same in Saudi Arabia. However this government has the audacity to do business with them and to back them. It is enfuriating. What should one expect from a leader that praises dictatorships?

      @@derekcox6531 The only thing "Canadian" about the LAVs is that they were produced in Canada (by an American company). The LAVs were made at GM Diesel in London ON, they were owned by GM and sold by GM to the Saudis. BTW, Saudi is an enemy of Iran and their allies, the Houthis.

      In the 2013 flood in Calgary I don't recall how much Harper did but I believe he got his boots dirty. That is more than the mayor did unless you count the soles of his boots. Laureen Harper slogged through seveal basements during that flood. Can you even imagine JT'd family wearing rubber boots?

      Many times I saw Stephan Harper at Stampeders games sitting among the people in the stands. No heavy security that I saw and the people were extremely respectful towards him, unlike the dictator we are experiencing now who needs a small army of RCMP officers wherever he goes.

    I miss Harper more than l can say. A true leader with integrity who governed for Canadians. We went from a highly intelligent PM who understood economics, to this emporer with no clothes. Think of all the young people who would have homes today, if trudeau hadn't come along. Think of how the pandemic might have been handled, Think of what the state of the economy would be, Think of how our streets would look without a million homeless refugees, drug addicts and rampant crime.
    Trudeau has led us into poverty and chaos, and needs to be held accountable.

    Stephen Harper must shake his head in disbelief at the state of Canada today . Justin Trudeau and Jagmeet Singh truly have ruined us . Can it be fixed . If we elect a new government in 2025 we can start the process of repair but this will take decades. We need a long-term plan put in place but are the citizens willing to go this route.

      The country was stagnant . In his last full year in office , Canada's GDP Growth rate was ranked 168th in the world . To put that into perspective , try to name 100 countries . when he left office , he was statistically , the worst PM since WW2 . Jean Chretien had way better numbers .

    I missed him the day Trudeau got into power. He was so bright, calm, well educated and an outstanding PM. I remember reading an article he wrote…it showed real intellect and erudition. He shepherded Canada through the depression of 2008 so effectively. At that time the Canadian dollar was worth more than the US dollar. The MSM owe us an apology for how he was derided and the misinformation that was put out about him.

    I miss Harper a lot. He was the Best Prime Minister in my Generation.
    He was everything that a Politician can dream for.
    He controlled Canada and brought it back to the world Stage.
    Now We have drama and a Turdeau who can’t tell reality.
    Harper was the best and I hope Pierre can take over and make it better than Harper and much more amazing and hopefully in the next 4 to 8 years or longer.

    Since 2015. I've read his book "Right Here Right Now" three times. I'm still gleaning ideas and perspectives from it. His writing is clear and concise and is by itself an indicator of his intellect. Nothing in that book, or Harper's legacy, is in any way evident in the bumbling behaviour of Trudeau.

    I remember coming out of the polling station, & feeling an incredible sense of dread...
    I saw the line of people in my small rural voting station voting to rid us of of Harper, an economist, in favor of a private school drama teacher.
    With every election since, I wake up wondering how this keeps happening?
