@Orrion Direct deposit is DIGITAL? Alert the media!! And the reason I suggested it is so you DON'T have to drive to the bank to deposit your check. What do you mean by "accept my paycheck"? I signed a form ONCE, and they just put it in every time. You can too. You're welcome.
And what's more? you can do your banking AT HOME with a PC that's not much more expensive than a smart phone, and save all the fuel and CO2 your heart desires!
***And I don't get "constant text alerts". I don't get them, because I don't ASK for them, because I DON'T TEXT.
Do you ever think about about the things YOU say? Because why you are raging at someone and calling them names when: 1) you don't even know them; and 2) that someone said DON'T go to the bank, but get direct deposit and bank from home.
One last thing: how stupid some of WHAT is? If you mean all this un-necessary and expensive technology your generation is always trying to coerce us into buying, then yeah, I am a little bit mad. But that isn't going to make me buy a smart phone that I don't need.
@Orrion That's OK. Lot's of people are like you. They can't admit that what they're writing doesn't actually make sense, because they're too defensive.
When I'm AT HOME doing my banking and not polluting the environment--the very thing you accused me of wrongly--I won't give it another thought, trust me!
I have been waiting for this information, globally for a long time . Thanks for airing this

I don't think this can be categorized as an age issue. Maybe when you are so wealthy that you don't drive, shop in stores, and are so far removed from normal life that shutting down the government is a solution just like regular people would power down a device as a solution.
Google is getting a complete pass by Congress. Google was not required to answer these questions in any meaningful way.

A great CEO Mr Sundar
And much more patience with many of these clowns on the committee than I would have had. It would have turned into a shouting match if I had been him. Was Mr. Pachai subpeoenad or was this voluntary? If it was voluntary I would have gotten up and said, "Sorry guys but I have to get back to work running my company which you use thousands of times a day for free." Good luck with that.
It's 2 years later now; can anyone tell me what this meeting and all the questions and talking points have changed? Has this lead to any actual changes?✌🏾
Wow what a joke they're even worse today than they've ever been They go in there they lie constantly and nothing happens these hearings are just a waste of time to make the people think our government actually doing something and you can definitely tell the ones that are in Google's pocket in my opinion
