Just got back from debating religion. Thanks for supporting my atheistic beliefs, mate. We did indeed come from apes, but not modern day ones, so they could have been more passive for all we know. Behavior changes as we evolve, we can't forget that.

Read the study. Its evolution was not independent as it has mixed DNA with the host flies. It has thus evolved into a different species of wasp more rapidly than standard speciation occurs. With each generation the percentage of DNA that is different from the common ancestor increases until it reaches a degree of difference that bears no resemblance. In this case it is just happening rapidly enough that we can see it within normal human timescales.

Although I respect points of views and scientific information, I personally don't agree with the concept that humans' ancestors were monkeys and apes. I mean, it doesn't seem logical that much. Apes do have similar traits and behaviors like humans a little bit, but humans have way complicated minds than animals. Yet, animals and humans can still generally learn from each other many new things about life

Pete Alger You can never fully prove something as fact in science. That's why the word theory exists. Theory of gravity is only a theory because you'd have to test every instance of gravity in every part of the universe to 100% conclude it as fact. There is a preponderance of evidence for both theories though. A scientific theory is far more concrete than you seem to believe.
