That is a great question you have there! I understand that there can be some confusion with the similar content, so let me explain. Each of the videos you mention have the same core website that is created but each video has minor adjustments to the content that make the video more centric to the title of the video. For example the Shopping Cart video creates the same core website and then adds a shopping cart to it, whereas the WordPress video does not have a shopping cart, but refers you to the shopping cart video once you have completed your website in case you need one. I also have a Blog video that is very similar but also has small additional details that make it more blog centric for those specifically looking to make a blog website. Since the WordPress video is not blog centric nor shopping cart centric, a student might skip over it the search results not knowing had the ability to include these features as well. I also have a separate WP Forms video that has a similar cover photo, but drastically expands on your ability to use forms effectively in your website.
Then there is the issue with technology changing on a regular basis. Another reason you might find duplicate content on my channel is that so much changes on a regular basis within WordPress, Elementor, plugins, themes, Eta Al, so it is often helpful and sometimes essential that I release an updated version of a previous video to get things all in sync again with the most recent WordPress, Elementor, theme and plugins updates.
It is my goal that my students can complete their website with minimal frustration but unpredictable updates always hinder my efforts. Currently when a student following a video gets stuck because something has changed in the process because of updates and changes within WordPress, Elementor, plugins, themes, Eta, I attempt to quickly respond with solutions that solves the problems they are having. I keep detailed notes of all the changes that have occurred overtime since the original release of the video so I can make updates to the video at some point in the near future.
Unfortunately TH-cam does not allow you to edit videos that are already published so the only way I can provide the updates is to publish an updated version of my videos periodically. I leave the previous versions in place so that students that booked marked a previous version do not lose access and because there are always current students actively using the older videos. I wish there was a better solution, but weighing all the options, I feel my solution works best for my students. Again thank you for you comments, I hope you find one or more of my videos helpful.
