Tvd became one of my favorite shows when it first came out in 2011 when I was in high school! Fast forward 11 years later & its still one of my favorite shows 🥰🥰 one of its ships from the original arc is still one of my all time favorite ships!!! Great A++ TV series!! (Incl it's spin-offs!)

This was the song I was going to sing to my crush seven months ago when I confessed. They sensed it was coming, made me do it in dms, and rejected me.
They made it seem like it was alright, and we stayed friends. Fast-forward a few months and they tell me that I crossed to many boundaries and cut off the friendship. They thought I was flirting when I wasn't, I respected their rejection and never wanted to make them uncomfortable.
It's almost been 3 months since they left. I haven't had feelings for them since long before they left and have even started to move on with someone new which has many complications of it's own but I still miss them.
What they said when they left hurt me, but I think them not existing in my life hurts more. All I really wanted was to be friends with them and help them through life.
Sometimes when I think of them I come back to this song. Listening and even singing it doesn't hurt anymore, but man does their memory still do.
I doubt they'll ever read this, or even know it was me who said it, but if you do happen to then I want you to know that I've always thought you did the best you could with what you had. I hope you find your relief and happiness, you deserve it.
Heard this on The Vampire Diaries. It works well for Jeremy and Bonnie, but it also works well for Damon and Elena. That scared little girl that couldn't admit what she wants enters her brave new vampire world and finally admits how she wanted Damon.
