I know. Torture , It's so painful If death was a relief, I would have rather died. I know some people react less, but even after detox in sleep in Madrid, three months later and I still couldn't find a second comfortable and after methadone high dose half my life , I get so sick and my metabolism is faster than most, already 1/2 hour after I wake up, if I forget the methadone, I start sneezing constantly first and if I still don't take new ,I start yawning unstoppable with sounds I can't control and sweat ,but so weak I struggle to get my pants on and then the twitching, cramps ,not just bone ache, is painful enough, but cramps and in not just legs,all nerves in arms,legs,back ,neck ,intense sweat while freezing a bit ,ice cold a bit and worst the nerve pain and restless not one second of rest to regain strength to keep the fight. Methadone after 22 years high dose, I haven't tried more than 12 hours, I have to drink morning and night 170 mg together in a day morning and night. I struggled extremely with heroin withdrawal, but methadone is impossible .I would have wanted to quit so much, I can't even begin to describe how much I wish I could. I believe in Jesus and I fear I'm lost. I believe in miracles, I don't know if I'm worthy of it. I am very frustrated people say things like this man in the video and even Heroin withdrawal three months the last time. Methadone, would have taken years of gradually going down, but I used to have higher dose and used two years of going down to where I am now, and it's just not possible to function, being a single mom, I don't know how to be sick so long even if I was single with help , my body hurts so much I don't think anyone would have made it if they was in my body and felt the intense torture it feels in my body. The truth is so many can't quit and rather die than try again. The fear of withdrawals is so high, I can't explain. I care about how I look and function, but I would have rather given my legs and arms if I could " buy " getting back to before I was an addict or get clean so I could be free and hopefully be saved by Jesus. I hope he of everyone understands, but then again, after my understanding God will separate the wheat from the weed and I understand he rather chose people who did right and has been able to quit and function well again and follow Jesus . I don't recommend starting Methadone, except if under control in a very short time as a method to get off something. I'm stuck. Worst is the not knowing what to do if access stops. What to do if God sees this as a sin. Wish there was a way to help detox people like me in coma ,clean the blood and fix reseptors in the brain ,because something in the brain makes the pain harder and I remember seing sick people before, thinking " I can do that " and I could many years, but I can't anymore. Just wish especially professionals knew how first of all individually people react on withdrawals and how much longer lasting and more serious and difficult it is. Never hear people mention all of those who can't take the pain not because of lack of will,but traumatic fear and tremendous pain. All those who leave detox.. They only see those who are able to do it . I grieve my salvation and just wish those who detox easier stop saying " if I CAN ,everyone can ! " They like to feel stronger and more determined ,but I know they wouldn't have made it in my nervous system and brain and body.
I hope everyone who think they can, stop methadone before it's so difficult it's no turning back without a miracle. Drugs at all ,especially opiates, I hope people never start . Always people think they never would have let it go so far ,they ofcaurs can quit, hear about all the people taking about how they used to be an addict, but now are clean and well. I was always sure I would be strong enough to ofcaurs quit. You don't know how your system react and what will break of health issues while using. The brain change too and your own brain and whole body becomes your enemy. Strong is easy in short term, but to stay in pain over time and see no end or feeling better.. That's when desperation and too overwhelmed possible to continue. I have a friend who doesn't get as sick and has quit 3 times ,but she always didn't get so sick and her body reacts different. Please professionals, it's dangerous to teach how much faster and easier it is ,because health workers believe you and doesn't understand the intense situation some of us gets in. So many factors deciding and it doesn't always make sense.

@@lapis3834 it's an individual thing, that is true. I feel with you, that is for sure, it,'s a hard ride to get off methadone. Try to taper maybe 2 1/5 mg/ml every 5 to 8 weeks or whatever time you need. No more than 2 1/5 mg/ml.

@@lapis3834 is it kratom legal in your state? Buy kratom and save your self. My girlfriend was on a medication similar to benzos just weaker comparing to withdrawals but stronger in the strength than benzos, for full 5 years, every single night. With kratom she tapered it off for just 3 weeks and without any withdrawal, 0, she got off. Now she is on kratom but also she make a break from kratom sometimes.

Yea metherdone withdrawal is way wers and suboxon thsy have such really long life spams I was on metherdone for 32years I was on 140ml a day at one point then I got down to 60ml a day personly I think 60to 80ml is a good dose I wouldn't ever go enymore than that your just not doing your self eny Favers the way I got off metherdone was a bit xtreem but I got sick of the shit I dropped 10ml everyweek I got down to 5ml then stopped I used backlofen all you will need is about 10to20mg a day its a mucel relaxant not addictive I was taken 70mg with 54mg of matazapin but I really don't advise enyone who's not used to backlofen to take as much as I do or you will be really ill trust me its really strong pluss it really helps for restless leg syndrome iv Doune 100s of detoxis and my way as really worked out for me I just got so sick of the shit plus I'm 47 time to grow up ay now I'm 3weeks clean if I can beet this shit I'm shur you can to if you really want it bad enuf yes I had waves of withdrawal but nothing you carnt handel at lest with the backlofen you can sit still iv bin trying get it out thir to the medical drug community but had no reply 😀 👍 good luck stay strong and just keep going its not going to last for ever trust me

He's talking about strictly physical withdrawal I think, and really after about a week or so the real physical end of things has at the very least subsided and the feelings are kinda relative in that you will never feel as good off as on so you will never feel 100% normal if normal for you is high
1 week for dope 22 days for methadone you might still feel certain symptoms after that week or 22 days but the bad part is gone
Hmm heroine withdrawls lasts 1 to 2 weeks . Methadone withdrawls can last to 6 months. Depend on how long you take it. I Was in jail i was sick the first 6 months. It was horror.

Agreed. Been going back and forth with them for many years on this now! Up to 17 deaths because they turned people away due to MONEY and the most recent person passed away cuz they did take their insurance plan, but it was a silver plan and they only took everything BUT that one. They died LITERALLY less than 12 hours after begging and pleading for help for hours on the phone with these people!
If you think your withdrawls for either one will be in the days long period, you've got such a huge monster coming for you...

Nah good h wds are legit 2-3 days (half life of h about 45 min). The problem is everything has fent in it now which has a half life of about 7 hours. Also not speaking as a Dr, I've been on mdone and feared the withdrawals tremendously without a taper.

I've come off both heroin and methadone (2 times) . Methadone was an awful awful withdrawal. Liquid handcuffs. Restless legs and insomnia are the ones that last ages. I wanted to chop off my limbs to be honest. Never again

Kratom helps with restless legs big time. For me, even though I was only abusing O-DSMT, which is a "lower risk" opioid, I got RL so bad it wasnt even just limbs, my stomach was on fire, like the unpleasant burning feeling you get when you try holding breath as long as possible. But kratom, cannabis and TUDCA set you up for a fast recovery. Over with it after 2 weeks and NEVER looking back.

I've been on methadone for 25 years. I don't want to be on it forever. I was on 90mgs. I'm now on 40mgs. Going down 10mgs a month. Take your time. But try to go down. Stop when you start feeling uncomfortable. Let your body adjust to the new low dose. You can do it. Depending on what kind of methadone you're on is how you detox (biscuits or liquid). The nurses in the program will work with you if that's your goal. Take your time. I've had friends get off very slowly with no withdrawal whatsoever. I go once a month so I go down 10mgs a month. I started to feel a little uncomfortable so I just stood on that dose for another month and went down 5mgs instead of 10mgs. Dont go up. We can do it. If you're not getting high on methadone your slow detox will work. Good luck.
I really feel for all of you. 😥 The fear of withdrawal is really terrible. But there is a way out, it may take some time to build up the motivation, but when it's there then go down slowly, 2-2,5 mg down every 4-6 weeks. This is just asuggestion, you do it in your own way, your own tempo. Just know it can be done. Best wishes and hugs from me I've been there.

Methadone withdrawal lasted for almost 2 months for me. I was on 100 mgs and I got locked up and had to go through it cold turkey and let me tell you it was by far the worst withdrawal I've ever had in my life and I went cross eyed and that lasted about 6-7 months and then one day they went back to being not crossed out of nowhere. Also I went no exaggeration 4-5 days without sleeping more than a few minutes a day, The restless leg i could feel all over my body but 100x worse than it feels when going through withdrawal from pills or dope.

When i detoxed from street fentanyl i was up for 8 fkn days!! It wasnt til i smoked a blunt with my buddy on that 8th day that i finally fell asleep for about 5 or max 6 hours.
ThTs how I am everytime I go through opiate withdrawal my eyes go crossed and have wicked double vision until they eventually build strength to go back to normal. I’ve went 10 days no sleep hardly any food and water just laid in my bed had a seizure fractured my spine lasted months it was so bad my sense of smell and taste is off everything smells like canned dog food

I broke a few wafers in halves and sowed 5 halves ( 20 MG for each day ) into my shirt,just enough to keep withdraws down..
It is a shame that I had to commit a felony just to not get sick.

Me to bro ....I kicked 4 times and now I just got out of jail again and I'm on day 28 the withdrawal are now mild I have gabapentin it just helps a little but the worst is I can only sleep maybe 2 hours at 24 hours and I just stay in my room I'm in Florida from from Connecticut in Connecticut the insurance was free and no is methadone clinics everywhere and Suboxone and everything is free but now I'm in Florida to live with my mother I got arrested cops arrest me for aggravated assault when I never did nothing to her they dropped the charges and I'm out of jail and trying to get on Suboxone in the place didn't even call me back I have to wait till next week and I just don't feel normal I've been on methadone for 15 years but a junkie since I was twenty-three from heroin and went to fentanyl my brain chemistry is all messed up I just want to get normal again but I think I have to be dependent on Suboxone till I die.....ty love u

I never had a heroin withdraw that lasted less than a week. With Methadone the withdraw just started to peak at 2 weeks, a solid 30 days without sleep can be expected. What a nightmare.
I didn’t sleep for a week coming down off of Opanas and I thought that was extreme .. couldn’t imagine a month

@@Anninukichild in my small(er) hometown - they came in to play around late 2010 ish (I remember thats the year I did my first one) and got bad up until around 2013 - is when I went through that week of no sleep - I was already on like day 2, I was sick and no money, had no energy to do shit, no body to front anything sink said F it and just went through it, my buddies Mom got me blazed and sent me home with like 2 xanaxes and like a half gram of bud lol didn’t help at all… but the 40s Stop Signs were the main ones but all of them were around really 10s,20s30s … and I got up to 30 mgs/day but by that time one 40 was $150 😳 also the best ones were the crescent moons 15mgs or the 10 mg ones - first time I did one I bought like 5 cause I thought I had too and then did a whole one before work- because im doing that anyways, and dude I swear I could barley hold my head up, for some reason the crescent moons were AMAZING - but yeah 30mgs/day at my worst at $150/day .. but I could do more if one of my boys would hook it up
@@Anninukichild but tons of people are dead from my hometown from those devil pills … even before the H/fentanyl hit - which EVEN MORE people here have died from that - but people did crazy shit for those pills - I saw prom queens with the nastiest dudes you could think of - the Detroit boys doing crazy shit to these white boys whi have never dealt with outta towhees thinking they can rip people off - thank God I was going to school and got financial aid lol so that’s where most of that money went 🤦🏽♂️Also when they got up to $150 - I usually split one with my buddy and it’d get me through my day and then I’d get another half to get me through the night/morning-day … so basically I was spending the whole thing but had it split up on two different days, so it wasn’t as bad financially
@@Anninukichild I think most of the pills were coming from Detroit/Canada … I live in West Virginia and in some parts they were going for $400/piece … one of my close friends was from the sticks and every once in a while his friends from home would drive like 2 hours with like 20 peoples money and they thought they were that much anyway and were willing to pay it - so we would get a few for free and do a few of them between us throughout the day/night … and they were happy, if they couldn’t get them then they were fcked , was worse then where I’m from … and also, I just assumed they were bad everywhere
I came off 120 mgs in jail & let me tell U how close I was to hanging it up, took 3.5 months to kick in jail, 2 hrs sleep a day, tie'n tube socks around my legs cause the cramps were that bad, the cold sweats were non-stop I took 5 showers a day for comfort, couldn't eat without it going right through my body, I could go on but let me say this, my first night of sleep after 3.5 months of mental & physical torture I told myself never again but soon as those doors were kicked & I was a free man, went straight to getting some bags, after all that it makes no rational thinking but that's what the sickness does, this was all in 05, I've been clean going on 15yrs now, what I'd tell people is don't touch methadone & work a program revolving around Jesus...🙏📚

Really ,if you was using heroin for 2 or3 months in a low dose you may be sick for a week and methadone the same if you use a low dose for a short time you ain't will be sick like it happen to a persons like me who use methadone for almost 20 years ,its been 1 year since i detox methadone and i still feel like shit plus probably you was on it in your 20s...

Methadone saved my life. I have been able to rebuild my life and repair the broken relationships that I ruined while in active addiction. I was able to buy a car, a house, rebuild stock portfolio, and save tons of money while on methadone. I had literally nothing and was living on the streets prior to MAT. I am tapering off methadone now and I’ve had literally no withdrawal symptoms so far. Methadone is a last resort medication imo but it definitely helps save lives.
Methadone is an horrendous withdrawal, I don't know what he's talking about.
For me after being on Methadone for year's I can tell you it's months maybe even a year with some of the worst side effects ever.
Pain like no other, hot and cold sweats, backache, restless legs so bad you actually punch yourself in them to try to get some relief.
Eating is a nightmare, shitty diarrhoea and constantly smelling wierd smell's and different tastes.
Hydrating is necessary but very difficult.
Sleep is all but gone, and no paracetamol or ibuprofen on the planet touch it.
Emotons flood back and make you cry all the time.
At times I wished myself dead, as it was just to much to cope with.
Thankfully I didn't, but it's by far the worst opioid to come off of in my opinion, and I've withdrawn from Heroin, buprenorphine, dihydrocodeine and plenty of others.
Methadone for me was long painful and almost an impossible task for me to get off.

@justanotherlisa methadone saves people’s lives. It saved my life at least. Also you only get severe withdrawal symptoms if you taper too quickly. I have dropped my dose from 115 to 48mg by dropping 2mg a week, and I haven’t felt any different. Tapering from methadone is real easy IF you take it nice and slow.

Ive tried detoxing from H when I was smoking it for years and never could handle the sickness but let me tell you I was on 200 mg of methadone from 2018 till February of this year and was diagnosed with paws In march after a month from my last dose. Im still currently dealing with severe restless legs, sneezing up to a hundred times a day and this is months later.. 1000% harder to get off methadone but its sooo worth it i dropped off at 75 mg so i probably should have tapered but i did it and have the motivation to never go back
You have ball cuz 200 mg its suicidal, i was in methadone for 19 years go down to 6 mg and walk away 14 months i still sick all the simptoms of whitdraws...

Well there’s your problem. Why did you jump off at 75mg? Methadone withdrawal is smooth sailing if you taper slowly. People that claim methadone wd is pure hell obviously didn’t know what the hell they were doing and jumped off at too high a dose or tapered too quickly.
I've tapered down to 4 milligrams and quit.The withdrawals lasted for 26 months. I ended up suffering for nothing.I had to get back on it so I could work and not loose my home. I'm back on 120 I quit worrying about getting off of it.I had to realize ill be on methadone the rest of my life.For me thats what it take to stay clean.
I thought the same thing. I started at 60mg about 3 years ago, now I’m at 10mg. I’ll tell you, it’s not an easy ride. But I’ve always tapered how I feel, I know we are all different. I recommend tapering 5% every 4 months. Or so. This is a smooth decent taper. 10% taper is too fast. Your at 120. Try getting down to 110 by December. Drop one mg every 2-4 weeks. Give yourself 4-6 weeks to feel symptoms with methadone you’ll start feeling some physiological withdrawals after 4 weeks. One you start seeing those symptoms, pause your taper and continue again once it goes away. It’s 5% is too fast for you, taper 4% every few months. And go as much as your body can go.

I'm on 120mg as well and will never even try getting off! I know myself, it's either methadone or fentanyl. I can't do the whole "sober" thing. I don't mind not getting high anymore but I NEED opioids in my brain everyday...

Withdrawal doesn't start in two days on methadone for me it starts about 20 hours after my dose of 145 mg.
Yeah I definitely start feeling like crap 24 hours after my dose. It happened when I was at 150mg and same with my dose at 48mg. Now my dose is down to 42 I’m starting to feel slight discomfort the same night of taking my last dose.
well yeah 145 mg is a very high dose my dear, im on detox now and downed to 3mg this morning and so happy that im not experiencing bad withdrawal, I have a problem sleeping and very kinda bad leg pain and my left hand nerve pain, but I can manage my daily if ! I started year ago to bring down my dose to 15 mg from 100mg and then told the clinic im ready to quit, was on it for 5 years and wasted so much money and my health , lost my relationship and it was enough for me to quit ! I got less than 2 more weeks to go zero ! wish me luck please 🙏 and I wish u the same
Yeah me too. Like I would wake early and be fidgety. Might not be serious withdrawals starting but my body was definitely on edge without the next dose

Everyone is different, physically, mentally, etc, so no one really can tell u how its gonna be for you. Just their own experience, or what they have read, seen or heard.
I’ve been on methadone now for about 6 1/2 years. Went up to 100 mgs for the first 3 years and I started tapering down after. Went down 5 mgs every 2 weeks til I hit 75 mgs a day. Then went down 2 mgs every 2 weeks til I hit 60 mgs. Then went down 1 mg every 2 weeks. I’m at 19 mgs a day now. I’ve heard everyone experiences the withdrawals harshness differently. I can get through about 10 hours a day before I feel anything that’s annoying, but I can literally sleep all day if I wanted to, but I know sleeping speeds up the metabolism for some reason, at least for me it does. So I’m going to keep the plan that I’ve been on because even though the last 5-6 hours of rls are pretty annoying, that’s about as far as it gets when it comes to withdrawals… atm. I couldn’t do this without my mom allowing to live with her while I go through this process while also not working and also helping me raise my daughter. My daughter is about 12 1/2 years old and for the first half of her life, I was shootin dope and I knew one day I had to stop if I wanted to give my daughter a better life than I had been living. I pray to God everyday a few times a day to help me get rid of the life that I chose, knowing if I’m worthy, God WILL be there in my darkest hours to help me through it. You must surrender your life of sins in order for God to see you have the right mindset of a Christian. God allows us all to choose our own path with free will, but those of us who tried it our way, only to find it was the wrong way from the beginning, to not follow the path of Jesus, was our first of many mistakes, but repenting those sins shows God that we’ve surrendered ourselves to him and his way because the Jesus IS the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to father, but through him and I figured out finally after 2 decades of drug use, that we are all being tested. That test is to see who figures out before they die if they choose to follow the path God laid out for us to follow at the beginning of our life is the one we end up following before our death so we can be excepted into the Silver City that one fateful day we all die a mortal death. And I swear that I won’t ever stray from that path again because I will NOT go to Hell… not for anyone. I must also try my very best to show my daughter the mistakes I made, so that she learns from them and I will try my very best to show her that whoever tries to make their own path, will fail in more ways than 1. It took me 35 years of living a lie to figure that out. My only brother, died of a fentanyl OD when he was 27 years old, in 2011. I truly hope that even though he struggled to come back to the path God set him on, that he was still able to save his soul. Because thinking that he might not have, is something I think about all the time. But I still pray and I still hope he was saved at the last moment. I hope I see him when it’s my time, because I miss him so very much. I also pray for the rest of you out there. I know some, if not most, of you may not have found your way to Jesus yet, and that’s okay. What matters is that some day before you bite the dust, you will have repented, to become born again, so I can see you too, with smiles on your faces that are ear to ear. 🙏🏼

Im glad I seen this. I was at 110mg for few years im now at 15mg taper every 2 weeks im also on subsidies so no pay. I’m on 12 mg a day. But I want to stop and get on kratom. I’m on my second day of not taking the methadone, but I know they say by the third day your withdrawal kicks in I took a dose of kratom today and I feel fine but I’m scared that I may start withdrawing but I haven’t been withdrawing even at 12 mg. I don’t have any of the symptoms right now.
Take your time People i jump at 5 mg and still 16 months feeling the whitdraws i still have diarrheas, chills, sneezing can't sleep 3 hours yet..i was on methadone for 19 years so take your time 1 mg every 2 weeks or so.

Never done heroin ..I was a pill head..been.on methadone 140mg day. 6 years... I'm on my 15th day cold turkey... 10th day I had to find a dark room and just cry from pain. I refuse to go back to pills it's life or death..I built a life this 6 years I'm not going back. Thus far the skin crawls come in 1 or 2 times a day.. still not sleeping past 3 to 5 hrs a day..

Small dose, that's probably why. It's a depotdrug, it builds up in the system, the larger the dose the harder to come off.

@@NiCoTHX i actually did several times, and im right now experiencing it, im off for the 10th day now. i think the worst part is over but i know u can feel sick for months after u quit it when u used it over a long period of time ( i used it for 9 years 120mg daily. highest dose was 180mg daily for 2 years. i quittet this time from 40mg to ZERO and u can believe me, benzo withdrawal is WAAAY WORSE) and i dont mean its worse when ure on xanax for a year... i was on xanax and dormicum for 7 years and i was selling it to sustain my habits, i had 10 to 20 xanax pills 2mg A DAY and withdrawed it last year- i rly was scared i was going to die it was extremly unconf. u sweating profusly, the pain is 10times worse then withdrawal from methadone. u cannot sleep at all. u can not eat at all and if u not have anybody who does care for u in this time (i was doing it at home) u will die

I’m documenting my methadone detox. Max daily dose of 160mgs and been on methadone for 20 years. I’m now going on about 2 1/2 years methadone free. I remember people on remand who were on meth would suffer upto 3 weeks with withdrawal while heroin users would be OK after a week.
2 days!?! What. Quack. Heroin withdrawal is way longer than that and so is methadone. I’ve experienced both. Methadone seemed worse and definitely longer but both suck. What ppl fail to realize is even when the vomiting, diarrhea, goosebumps, hot/cold sweats, zero sleep, bone pain, aches, restless legs, runny nose, sneezing etc. you still deal with depression, anxiety, no sleep, and countless other mental issues for months after you finish the physical part. Thats why its so hard to quit. Even after detox and rehab the mental struggle is there constantly. Cravings, horrible drug dreams every time you sleep. Its unbearable.
Been on methadone 9 years now... Didn't fully understand the "liquid handcuffs" term until about two years in... I'm still trying to taper off. Yeah it saved my life but now I feel stuck.

Long painful nights, but restless legs watery eyes, sneezing sniffles yawning and thsts the beginning and you know you soon run out of energy so better hurry get money somehow to get a bag or 2 or it's hell but mind you the whole drug life is hell, and the first few months of my herion addiction I got told its the honeymoon period and they where right cause I had plenty money and thought I could handle it as it wasn't long enough to get dope sick but I fell in love with the syringe fast smoked for like few weeks but wanted a better hit and I would put my trust in others to shoot me up, but groin neck arm jezo it was hell after thst and methadone has saved my life for now

The most torture ive ever felt is the restless legs and arms. Hot baths help. I can handle all the other withdrawal symptoms but the restless limbs is horrific

I’ve withdrawled from various opiates/opioids. Percocet, hydrocodone, suboxone, heroin, fentanyl, tranq dope, opanas, and different kind of Xanax off the dark web. I’ve never came off methadone yet completely. But there was time when I didn’t dose for almost a week. I can usually handle the nausea and not throw up. But methadone had my stomach in a knot it was the worst feeling ever.

This is hopeful. I have tried to get off methadone before and I've tried the shot for 30 days it didn't help. I had to do a rapid detox that was TERRIBLE. I'm sober now and methadone is annoying
Third time coming off methadone now. Was on 120 daily for 7 months and have tapered down to 21mg daily as of today. It’s been about 2 months I’ve been tapering with moderate withdrawal starting about 2 weeks in. Wish the hospital never sent me home with oxys in 2013

So I just started methadone treatment. Started Wednesday at 30mg and I'm at 70mg today. I don't understand how but I went from bad cravings, using every 1-3hrs 1.5 grams a day to barely even thinking about using, my cravings are very little and don't feel fentanyl withdrawals. Is that how quick methadone works? I could have gone all day today without using but I scared myself and told myself I need to use or I'll go through withdrawals. If it seriously works that good and that quick I might see the light at the end of the tunnel. Feel free to leave any advice if you've used methadone
When I got off methadone I sit on my bed and rocked and cried for 9 months I thought I was going to go insane then I went into pause for 3 years methadone as hell it took me at least 2 years to sleep my doctor did help me but at first I was only sleeping 2 hours a night this is worse then heroin😢

2 days for heroin withdrawal (detox) completion is incorrect in most circumstances.
Also, you can be in withdrawal even when you have just had a shot if it wasn’t a large enough dose of for your tolerance. It varies on the tolerance and the person. At minimum I would say between 4 and 12 hours since last injection for withdrawal to start.

I did that... after 1 and a half year. It's always sad to relapse afetr the pain endured. Some say here to taper... sure, it helps.
But it will be difficult to stop at one point. Maybe less difficult to stop 5 or even 10ml than 50-80ml.
Cold turkey on high dosage is the worst thing I endured in this life, and after 20 years of methadone (i'm around 40ml a day), this sis the thing I fear the most in this life. So for sure, I'll try again but on low dosage and with some help to ease the pain.
