roughly half my interior details are like this (tons of moms with 2 or 3 kids that absolutely trash the interior) but ive only every charged an extra 50 on top of my base interior price. I feel like ive been way undercharging now...
$200 for 15 hours is like $13/ hour that has to pay you plus your consumables plus your business overhead plus profit for reinvestment in new equipment, etc. seems way WAY too low. $850 for 10-12 man-hours is around $70-85 an hour which is great if you can get it but seems pretty high. By comparison, licensed plumbers bill out an average of $75/ hr where I live. Customers can do the math and many will struggle with the $70-85 hourly rate for what is seen as a cleaning service. if you use a metric of $40-50/ man-hour that includes all costs, including business overhead and a reasonable profit that puts you at around $500-600 assuming it takes 12 man-hours to complete this. That would equate to around $15-20/ hour labor rate with the rest going to overhead and reinvestment/expansion. The fact that you did get $850 for this detail plus $100 tip speaks to succeeding at more of a value- based sell that probably appealed to the clients emotions around guilt for letting his vehicle go for so long. Again, congrats for getting that, it is inspirational for all of us. I am skeptical that folks in my area would pay that much for what was done, regardless of the quality of outcome.

Adding up to 350€ in 8 work hours and 43,75€ / hour while having costs for the worker, cleaning supplies, electricity and water at 25€ / hour. Giving me a profit of 25€ per hour without me even necessary working. That profit can pay commercial, rent, insurance and everything else, still having enough for me to live with. You produce a profit of 69,23 / hour Why do you need such an high profit? I prefer being cheaper, still making enough money but not to much. I prefer customer satisfaction over profit, with leads to the possibility of having more customers and being able to expand faster using for example a franchise system. Producing many little income flows which also profits builds up over time because of the system evolving and the workers getting better. All my customers are perfectly happy, because if the outside is cleaned it always looks awesome. Thats very important because the first impression gives a first mood on how you look at the whole detailing job. We always fulfill all the customers wishes perfectly. They know what every service costs and can decide which they want to get. What do you think about that?

- Deep cleaning plastics (50€)
It would take 2 detailer about 4 hours delivering wash with sealing the paint and cleaning the interior to perfectly cleaned condition.
You produce a profit of 69,23 / hour
Why do you need such an high profit?
I think Oscar is a better businessman than you!
You ripped dude off bad. That shouldn't cost more than 200 dollars..
You should have charge $4000. That’s what they charge down here just for the interior on average. Your underselling yourself.
you trolling right? 4k for an interior, that's asinine
where is "down here"?
😂😂😂
Haha more power to them
$300
