Nolan, you've definitely come a long way in a very short time, my friend. Good to see you! You may want to try changing to an upcut bit to help pull some of that sawdust and cut your cleanup time down.
Thanks Al! Good to hear from you! I actually want the saw dust to stay there during the cut to keep the vacuum strong on the work piece. I need to switch from tabs to doing an onion skin. I’ve heard the second pass will clean up the chips better.

Just found this video while looking at Mozaik. Thanks for sharing. You make Mozaik look easy and I love the labels, certainly needed when cutting so many sheets. I’m curious why you don’t use a spoil-board to limit any damage to the machine bed. Also, your dust collection needs to be stronger. I have a 2HP system with 4” hose and it sucks up EVERYTHING. No extra vacuuming needed.
Thanks man. It has a spoil board on it. That black stuff is the @allstarcnc tile gasket to help increase vacuum power. I need to clean the filter out on my dust collector. It has been a while and I tell it’s not performing any more

Thank you! I just want a newer version of the phantom. They have made so many new upgrades to the newer CNC’s. Nothing is wrong with mine though, so I really don’t need to upgrade but I want to! lol 😂

I know your depth of material is 3/4”, but could you tell me the rpm and step down value? I’m breaking a lot of 1/4” bits with 300in/min and 10,000rpm, 0.3” step down while cutting 3/4” birch plywood.
After watching your videos I decided to try out mozaik last night after singing up I never got my DL links or anything 😡 how long did it take for you to get you Auth Code I was app up to start learning it Great content 👍🏾
Sorry to hear that, I’ve heard of people having trouble getting their post processor setup for their CNC. But normally you have access to the program as soon as you download everything

Thanks Joe! There is actually lol 😅 I just didn’t use it. It’s call remnants in the software. It’ll mark, cut, and save remnants for later use.

I haven’t tried yet. But I’m looking into though. Wouldn’t be a great option for me.

I’m running the 3/8” compression at 18,000 rpm, 60-200 ipm plunge rate. 3/16” stepover
Your rpm is too low for a 1/4” bit. Should at least be 18,000 rpm.

Yes it has an mdf spoil board, the black stuff is called tile gasket and it increases your vacuum hold down power.
I dod not notice phantom cnc on the post processor list on the mozaik website. Was there any issues getting phantom and mozaik compatible?
