While i dont exactly play Minecraft alot and spend more of my time on science, it may be that these subatomic particles are not spherical, and sre something else, like vibrating strings, the size of the plank length, the planck length is a bit smaller than quantum foam. And the particles are just irregularities in their corrisponding particle fields.
