If Amber is actually borderline, and most of the rational world would agree that is true, then she will most certainly attempt to manipulate one doctor to another to suit whatever agenda she has. Fortunately this forensics psychologist is smarter than your average clinical psychologist bc she knows that people will try to manipulate results to serve them in a legal situation, like checking 19 of the 20 PTSD symptoms and only actually having 2 or 3 of them. I believe that proof of Amber’s perjury, lying, and exaggerating things has no bounds and therefore Amber’s words are not credible.

That’s how this is supposed to go. Lawyers ultimately have the ability to attempt to control the narrative during cross exam, so though I don’t agree with the tactics of the lawyer, she has the right to ask closed ended questions, as that’s how cross exam works in court.

@@PhippsJonah Sure, but only question beeing "do you recall" with absolutely no variation for dozens of times and with little connection between them is very bad imo. @@cherylj7460 🤣🤣🤣 yes those lawyers are drawing at straws. They are getting frustrated but Dr. Curry was wonderful. She held her cool like nobody's business. Now had that been me on the stand, I probably would have lost my patience and blurted out to Madame lawyer where to go, and how to do it! Of course, then the judge would have held me in contempt of court. But Johnny Depp should be proud of that young lady, and as a matter of fact I think he should marry a woman like Dr. Curry. She's already married though. He needs to find a woman like her. I know he has a new girlfriend and I don't know anything about her but Dr. Curry rocks, board-certified or not!

My wife and I are divorcing, she provisionally took my son because she reported me for domestic violence. After talking extensively to my 7 year old son, social services had decided that she is lying. Now she switched to a ‘verbal violence’ report. Of course I’ve asked for a psychological evaluation in court to protect myself and my son that is the one suffering all this madness. She actually admitted to me in private that she’s after my money, she is asking for 2.300€ a month… what strikes me most is that in this “World of Equality”, society assumes that men are the perpetrators and rarely the victims without even giving us a chance to speak before getting to court. My wife has actually hit me several times and while I’m 3 times bigger than her, I’ve always restrained myself from escalating. Sad but true. Things have to change as the so advertised ‘toxic masculinity’ is poisoning peoples minds and especially young woman that go into a relationship with prejudice against man.

I agree. Things need to change. You are going to be okay. The system is not fair but it looks like you aren’t going to give up. The truth does come out. My husband’s father was the first man ever awarded custody of his children in Ontario, Canada after his wife kidnapped the children. That happened in about 1963. I wish you the very best. Good wins out in the end.

Why was the woman lawyer kept asking Dr. Curry what the other person (s) said?

Because she has nothing so she's going for anything she can get.

It’s not really effective to badger a witness about how much they remember about another witness’s testimony.

Defense only strategy in my opinion seems to be the attempt to either impeach or discredit in the jury's eyes any validity to key witnesses.
