I'm currently planning a road trip from Accra to Sierra Leone and possibly Guinea , then tried to see if any road trip of the route has been uploaded on TH-cam , and here you are ... I'm dumbfounded by how detailed and picture perfect your documentation is so far . I've never seen a trip so detailed . I wish I can give a thousand likes I know how difficult it is , especially financially .But I wish you can visit some key towns as well, document few tourist sites and give us more insights into the different cultures . What ethnic groups populate each of the regions you cross and a brief history and insight into their rich way of life . I can tell your potential is massive If anyone else is planning a similar trip , it would be great to get in touch . I've done similar trips in the past solo , to Benin and Nigeria but not on the scale I'm planning .

Ghanaians and Ivory Coast 🇨🇮 borders requires serious security and safety to cross the borders closed for a long time due to Covid and national security period.???
Ghana has 239, 460 Sq. km, Ivory coast 322, 460 Sq.km, Burkina faso 274, 200 Sq. km while Nigeria has 923, 768 Sq. km making the largest country in west Africa after Mali and Niger Republic.
That Cape Coast stretch of the road is the most dangerous in Ghana and Africa, see how winding it is? It's even worse in the harmattan season when visibility is bad. And our authorities don't see the sense to at the MINIMUM DUALIZE the road, even straighten out many of the winding curves in the road? Any surprises why we have almost 3000 people perishing on our roads yearly? O Ghana
After seeing the ivory Coast, other country roads, Ghana our roads/space is very ugly. With sand collecting on the sides of our roads, etcEven Accra our capital city doesn't cut it. The Ivorian Abidjan-Yamoussoukro highway with its manicured median grass is a beauty. Shame in Ghana. It's only our 4 tier Pokuase interchange that's winning for us

My brother is about to embark on this same trip in February or March 2023. He is coming from Nigeria to Ghana all the way to Freetown. He really can’t afford to fly. He came to Nigeria during the civil war in Sierra Leone and he has been stranded ever since. I have finally agreed to get him home but he has to go by road. He is waiting to get his travel documents from the Sierra Leone Embassy in Lagos. Once he get his traveling paperwork, he will embark on this long trip. Thanks for the video. I have forwarded it to him so he will have an idea of what to expect.

Sadly! But then we come back to also acknowledge reckless driving on our roads-so much indiscipline on roads in West Africa.

Drivers at the Elubo station proposed we cross the border by river with a canoe/boat but my friend didn't want us to take that risk😅🤭

I almost bought the idea but my friend didn't agree to the proposal and I couldn't go alone😅
