- Hello and welcome to another episode! In this episode, I attempted transmitting through the Democratic Republic of the Congo to get to Angola as getting a ferry across the Atlantic on time was proving futile. I resolved to patiently waiting for any available ferry to go from Angola's enclaved province, Cabinda, across the Atlantic Ocean to mainland Angola. That was quite an adventure and hope you enjoy it as you flying along!

Hello bro, I have been watching each and every episode of your journey, I enjoy seeing other countries in Africa through your lens. I love it and I will like to embark on a similar adventure some day. I am concerned with how difficult it is for us as Africans to travel within Africa.
Honestly speaking, Africa should be visa free for Africans, we are brothers and we should live as one. I can imagine the amount you spent on shipping your bike within the same Angola, you were stressed and you paid custom duties and other fees if you were shipping it in, it is obnoxious and uncalled for. I felt hurt by this policy but in all we thank God for the journey so far. Keep the flag flying bro, much love from Nigeria 🇳🇬.

Well it was rather unfortunate I had issues with that when I entered from the north. We hope for the best.
I mentioned in last video about how expensive Angola was. Looking at the logistics involved, 170 dollars is reasonable. If im correct itchy boots had the same waves problem and had to go with a goods ferry. I also think it could have been cheaper if it was a vehicle ferry. Here in Uk a ferry to France is about £40 and if you go by the freight train, aroud £50.

Cabinda has many oil and gold reserves but unfortunately this Angolan enclave is still poor.
No wonder why they wanted secession from mainland Angola.

Would have been less stressfull and cheaper and faster to get the visa for DRC, and cross to Angola by land. You could have even visit some places there maybe. But you didnt know. We are always learning
Visa was 300USD and the time to get visa too is another...

Motorcycle transport paperwork =20,000
Port tax for motorcycle in Cabinda =13,000
Port tax for motorcycle in Soyo =14,000
Ferry fare for motorcycle =110,000
Total =172,000 Angola Kwanza (approx. $185)

You can tell Africa are the same people different by colonial languages, Angola and the people look like anywhere in west Africa.Hunt for fuel in Angola,an oil producing country. You can see this thing is being played and orchestrated by the same power,making sure Africa that produces fuel can hardly get access to it. Same story in Nigeria,the the second largest oil reserve in Africa, with four state owned refineries yet there are scarcity and queues for fuel everywhere.This is where OAU has failed as well as an organisation,places like ports,airport in every African should have people that can speak the major language across Africa,English, French,Arabic,swahili,Portuguese...An African passport holder should at least be able to travel within African countries,even if it is for 90 days visa free.This visa requirements between Africans is only holding back Africa's progress and development.Thank you.

The fuel in Angola is cheaper is only on the north of Angola Cabinda and Soio states people smuggle fuel to sale in Congo more expensive
The same way people smuggle fuel from Nigeria to sell in neighbouring countries because it is cheaper in Nigeria until recently when tinubu removed the subsidy on fuel. 😂
