1976년 솔로 데뷔, 1978년 팻 메시니 그룹의 데뷔 이래로
1980년대 초까지는 기타, 피아노, 베이스, 드럼 등
전통적인 구성의 악기로 단출하고 담백한 사운드를 그렸다면,
1980년대 후반부터는 라틴/월드뮤직에 대한 관심과 향취가 진하게 느껴지고,
2000년대 이후로는 더욱 다양해진 국적의 멤버 구성에서도 보이듯이
그만의 스타일 위에 다양한 월드뮤직의 느낌을 실험하고 있다.

Thank you very much for this peaceful, heart-opening and loving compilation. It is a source of inspiration and healing for the soul.
와~~고등학교때 라디오에서 들은 기차소리 음악 , 20년이 훌쩍 지나 갑자기 생각나 3년을 이리저리 찾았는데 못 찾아 그냥 기억속에 묻어졌다가 오늘 아무 생각없이 뜬 유튜브화면 클릭했는데 도입 음악소리에 너무 놀래서 소리질렀어요~ 라디오에서 처음 들은 그 새벽으로 돌아갔네요!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 감사합니다

좋은 플리감사드려요. 옛날 테이프 가게에서 꼬깃꼬깃 모은 용돈으로 좋아하는 앨범을 사서 테잎 늘어질때까지 듣곤 했었는데 이젠 길을 걸으면서도 이렇게 좋은 음악을 공짜로 들을 수 있다니 새삼 너무 좋네요.

I listened to the first song and suddenly realized that 37 years have passed since the album containing this song was published(Still Life (Talking) By that time we were blessed by seeing it played live at Santiago, it remains me of so many memories back that time, couldn´t help getting a little emotional about it..., always a joy to hear such great music
These and several other PMG compositions have become sewn into my soul. Without these pieces of music, I don't think I would recognize myself

First heard Pat (PMG "Travels" 2LP) in 1983. Heard PMG live the following year in LA. Heard PMT in Perth in 2004. I can't live without without my daily dose of Pat.

Last train home 을 영상으로 보면,.. 달리는 기차바퀴를 드럼 brush로 기막히게 표현했음과 일렉트릭 시타르로 집에 돌아가는 듯한 몽환적인 향수를 기막히게 표현했음을 알 수 있슴다
이 곡을 엄청 좋아하는데 표현하신 내용이 마음에 팍팍 와닿네요. 미국에 이민와서 초기에 많이 힘들때 우연히 라디오에서 듣고 고향을 그리워하며 듣던 곡입니다.
