I am soo maddd 😠 "somehow" i was not subscribed🤔🤨 weirddd.. but I re-subscribed.. so I wonder if that has something to do with you views being low?! Also my dad has one of those crossbow things, they're pretty sick 💚
Battery switches are killer for this instance. As an installer myself and hearing of people depleting their batteries in the middle of the water is just horrible. Always, ALWAYS keep a battery isolated from the system, and paddles aboard.
Ever hear of a power inverter, you had a generator on the boat. Plug in the inverter, BAM instant 12V DC, start the boat and your gone. I just looked the River Mini has a 12V DC car outlet on it, take a basic electricity course and don't get stranded guys.
Tristan you made it fun to watch this episode! Jordan?! No matches, snacks, paddle. I just told my son this, live and learn, you won’t forget now. We got him a paddle and a tow rope for the boat.
Y’all have to get a pull rope for your motor. I’ve been giggin and my battery died put your controls in neutral with the key on start then wind the rope around the fly wheel gears up to your motor it has grooves in it where u can put your pull rope and yank it good with follow threw lol
Not sure about this motor, but a lot of smaller outboards have a pull-start function on top of them. I've had to use mine a few times when similar stuff like this happens. Also, put a digital multimeter on-board. Those don't lie.
You realize that you can pull start modern efi outboards, right? Once running the alternator will power the efi enough so the motor will run right. You need a special tool to remove the cover plate and a pull rope, but I would keep those on the boat at all times.
your boat engine might have a backup rope for an emergency rope pull start in case you ever run into a problem like this. turn the key to on. leave in neutral and give the rope a pull.
$1400 power bank and it can't charge a battery. In my state legally required basic safety gear includes paddles or oars. I also have an auxiliary motor, which seems to put me in the minority these days.
One thing I've learned to do is when I land a shot on a fish, I drop my bow and pull the line in by hand and pull the fish in that way. Helps if you have a barb tip that hooks the fish. Another thing that could be useful to bring on the boat is one of those car battery jump starter packs.
As a yukon commercial fisherman, I gotta say, paddles are one of the most important things to have on the boat, there were 3 times my motor's carb floaters got stuck(before I found I can jam a wire in and jiggle it to free it) and the paddle I make sure to have in my boat saved us each of them. Brought us to the bank where other boats managed to help us out
I’ve used a cross bow for bow fishing in Minnesota. The crossbow basically nails the fish to the lake floor. Arrow sometimes goes all the way through the fish as well.
OK when did they stop putting pull starts on Outboard motors, I thought they all could be pull started under the cowling BTW Caost Guard requires a paddle in all boats over a certain length.
Jump it with the ecoflow. You can still jump your boat that one has a stator like the old pull cords once it's going you can charge your batteries. Just don't loose a finger starting it.
My guy, just carry a JNC660 with you next time and you'll always be prepared to jump the starting battery! I keep one anchored in a storage compartment on my boat. It has come in handy for me as well as other people around me! Glad you boys made it out safely!
Your channel is all about filming adventures and this was certainly an adventure ! Great entertainment for us too. It's nice that even when you're stranded, you guys had a good time.
I live not far from Lake Lanier. I live in Jackson County. You don't have oars for emergencies? You need a fishing net too, for getting the fish out of the water. Just a suggestion. What great bow fishing fun. You all need some sleep now. I loved watching your video.
Laugh Out Loud glad you guys are okay. Great video. I recommend you get one of those USB Charging Jump Boxes people use for cars. Throw it in a dry bag and keep it on board.
So the ecoflow “river flow” doesn’t have positive and negative connections to attach to for the boat cables 😂 could have charged the battery or started the boat engine. Just an opinion.
Oh it had a way, I know it did. They just weren't thinking about it. This is why I don't like current fishing methods personally, far too much electronics. And bow fishing is especially on training wheels.
I’m glad y’all are safe! I lost my other YT channel login and stuff so I haven’t seen y’all in a hot minute! Miss your uploads! Thank god you came across my algorithm again!
Hey Brandon I’m big fan and I love your videos and I went snorkeling This weekend and found 2 Apple Watch ⌚️ it was fun !!!!!!!!!! Hope you have an good day
With all the different Power Systems you use and promote, how come you don't have one of those battery jumper devices on board ? I was having trouble once with a battery in my ski boat and luckily I had that along. We just continued using that for the rest of the day to start the boat after each person's ski run. I'm sure you'll be able to figure out a system so this doesn't happen again. Great video anyway.
Another banger video man. Even when things don't go to plan its so cool to see you guys laughing together. This night will be a great story and even better memory for years to come.
Maybe before you keep buying all of that high priced stuff u really can do without buy a small generator to keep your boat charged at all time, really it works are next the paddle with the lights and the bows lol
Don't have oars. Don't have lighters. Don't have the gun for their flares. This stuff's common sense if you're going out on a boat, no matter how short of a trip is planned, even like, a five minute skip between two docks.
Is starting the motor with a rope not a thing with newer motors? Serious question, this happenned to me with my old 50hp, and i just wrapped a rope on the starter wheel and off i went
Man props too all 3 of you men!!! Get vids amazing content!!! You gotta push it all the way or the not knowing could end you up where ya don’t wanna be! ❤️❤️❤️
You should carry a Portable inverter Generator so you can charge your batteries. They are small and you can bring a small charger to charge your battery so you can least charge the battery so you can start your outboard motor.
Rough go.... we had this happen right off the channel out if Bayport. We had a good Friday come rescue us at midnight and a slow 2hr tow I to the river! Great to see you guy stay fun an light hearted about it... Can the portable charging unit run your trolling motor?
Why didn’t you just pull off the motor cover and use the pull start cord that is in a emergency pack attached to the cover to fire up the engine? You know that you have that right?
Say shouldn't you have fishing tips on your arrows, the kind that open up after impact so when you feel in the fish the arrow doesn't pull back out. Oh well you guys got some practice any way.
I was going to suggest putting a small boat propeller on a weed whacker that they use in other countries to actually move their canoes pretty quickly. Make sure you have a good amount of fuel. Love your videos. 😂👍
Jump it with the battery pack alot of batterypacks like those come with a jumper cable hook up if not Im sure theres a 5v outlet for usb or something or use the carger for a camera battery run 1 wire from positive to positive and negative to negative. Wait for like an hour because 5v will charge it just slowly.
You definitely need a VHF Radio. I’ve been stranded before in cold, gator infested water and we walked and swam with lines tied to us and then swam a river to go call a friend with a boat and he towed us in. Had to drive to the boat launch and get the trailer. It was scary.
@@JonnyJKF Yeah. It was sketchy. We ran out of fuel. One of the first times I took my boat out. I was drinking back then, and everyone else on the boat was too, so calling the Coast Guard or BMR was out of the question. I think the water temp was probably in the high 50’s to low 60’s so the gators were at least less active because of the cold. But it was bad walking through the tall grass on the bayou, then we walked and swam it down I-10 to the river. A couple of my friends swam the river for me. Me and another friend had walked and swam the boat. It was night time. I would not suggest it. Very scary.
Well looks like we hit the like goal! Guess I better find a cross bow 😂👊🏼👍🏼
Your the best man. That's why
Is that 1 or 3 Cross Bows hahahaha
Tristan looks like wolverine of X-Men
That is so hilarious he really did look like wolverine with that hair and I was just waiting for them clothes to come out of his hands LMAO

@@mouss9918 brother I just dropped some fat loaves and they stink I love it
Dude thats an awsome mullet Tristan
Yep it's a must
There is a LOT of love about this video, the best part is that Jordan is willing to show real adventure, even when it goes south on him. ProPs!
I have the same boat. There is a pull starter rope under the motor hood so you can pull start the motor.
Would be interested to know if Brandon knew & forgot or just had no idea about it's existence (or even if they have one). 😇
used to work on a couple of them. There normally is.
Ever hear of a power inverter, you had a generator on the boat. Plug in the inverter, BAM instant 12V DC, start the boat and your gone. I just looked the River Mini has a 12V DC car outlet on it, take a basic electricity course and don't get stranded guys.
Brandon is the most prepared man I know… except for this one time. 😂 another awesome video man. Love it
🇦🇺You may need to upgrade your emergency supplies. Maybe a maritime emergency radio.
You might want to check but you may be able to pull start that motor. I have an older 60/45 and it has a pull start under the motor cover.
All that fancy gear you have but no little jump box? A must have on a boat
Tristan you made it fun to watch this episode! Jordan?! No matches, snacks, paddle. I just told my son this, live and learn, you won’t forget now. We got him a paddle and a tow rope for the boat.
Portable battery jumpstart. Noco makes a good one. Always have one on my fishing boat.

I gig the bayport area right by weeki wachee where I have seen plenty of your vids. I know the aripeka area to the chassahowitzka area pretty good.
must be really cool to live moments like these... good content as always. looking forward to yappy's video of this
Not sure about this motor, but a lot of smaller outboards have a pull-start function on top of them. I've had to use mine a few times when similar stuff like this happens. Also, put a digital multimeter on-board. Those don't lie.
You could have cut the cord to one of those ring lights, then connected it to the battery cables and used the EcoFlow to power your boat.
You realize that you can pull start modern efi outboards, right? Once running the alternator will power the efi enough so the motor will run right. You need a special tool to remove the cover plate and a pull rope, but I would keep those on the boat at all times.

Just watched a vid from a month ago where you showed both things I said about bowfishing. Lol. Now I feel silly.

Brandon n Tristan n Juan, I Love your videos!!!! 🤟🤟🤟🤙🤙🤙👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️
You also could of charged them with the solor panels for your battery pack to to charge it once it started getting light or with your ring lights.

So many people drown in Lake Lanier! I live in Gwinnett.
@@heehaw8401 Yes. I see it on the news almost daily. Especially in the summer.
Get Sea Tow Brandon. I had Sea Tow for 1 week then I ran out of gas on the lake and they were there within 45 minutes. Love your videos Sir.
Yoooo let’s go, I’m early!!!!! Epic video, brotha!
Always best to have a few paddles on board even if the boat uses gas and or electric.
Laugh Out Loud glad you guys are okay. Great video. I recommend you get one of those USB Charging Jump Boxes people use for cars. Throw it in a dry bag and keep it on board.
When you missed that shot your line went into the trolling motor take it easy on the white claws...

Content lol
So dumb lmao sometimes I hate watching this guy
@@reykennedy5716 sounds like they failed on really advertising this batteries ability hahah

Nice to know that ecoboost box you got runs lights. Next time see if they have one that has a built in battery charger.
Excellent video! Thank you!
good video , come dive up in lake mich some day with us
This was epic! Great mesh of personalities! Can’t wait for the next! Frances
Great video, 👍, missed watching yall guys,
Thx for another banger video jiggin!
You do know that most mud sized and small outboards always come with a back up recoil of some sort under the cowling.
Hey Brandon I’m big fan and I love your videos and I went snorkeling This weekend and found 2 Apple Watch ⌚️ it was fun !!!!!!!!!! Hope you have an good day
Love you guys are still laughing and having a good time as you are trying to get rescued😂
Hahaha just did this song and dance on lake superior 😅 ended up wiring every battery on board together including the drill batteries lol
You got 10k likes! That means you gotta do a crossbow bow fishing rig! Don’t forget your promise!!!!
You gotta know your tools brother!
Maybe you should do a product test/review on boat safety items that people rarely use so maybe others can learn!
You should be able to pull start that motor FYI! But enjoyed the video! Good you guys saw someone! Get a portable VHF too (:
Awesome videos man you are the reason I got into diving thank you for what you do keep it up man and stay safe out there.

Great Collab With Senor Bass🔥👌🏻
You need more safety gear, but that was fun to watch.
hey glad you guys ok./when tristen arrow fell out that was really funny love it';

Mad respect from New Zealand

Two things I always bring on my boat, a Noco GB40 jump box and a Cobra handheld VHF radio. Spend the $250, you wont regret it.
Keep up the content Brandon! Love the grind!
I laughed so hard throughout this whole video. I think it was a great lesson learned. Keep up the fun guys!!!
Maybe before you keep buying all of that high priced stuff u really can do without buy a small generator to keep your boat charged at all time, really it works are next the paddle with the lights and the bows lol
Well at least you know you emergency equipment works
Does that motor not have a pull-start capability? look it up for next-time :D
Invest into a portable jumper box. They are life savers. We won't go bowfishing without one anymore.
The chaotic energy in this was hilarious - “GET HIM- SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT” 😂
Why didn't you try to use the power source for the lights to start the boat?
thats why we keep a spare full charge battery on board if the mains go dead we got a good battery to get us to the dock
Love how you create great content and how its excitingly different every time!

Can't you remove the engine cover and pull start the engine ? As a extreme back up ? Or even take the battery pack apart and use that battery ?
Do you have your flippers on board, you can use them as emergency oars
