This curious little creature is an incredibly interactive toy friend with 5 voice activated modes and over 600 phrases, jokes, songs, and so much more to discover. Tell Furby what you want to do with these 5 commands: Dance Party, Copy Cat, Tell My Fortune, Let's Chill, and Lightshow. It’s really cute… But I miss it moving it’s mouth! This toy could be improved by giving it eyechips, like the original, so that it’s sparkling eyes would have more depth. ✨ All in all, this seems like a playful tribute to the original late 90’s Furby, rather than a completely new Furby.
I agree about the mouth and eyes. I really wish the mouth moved! Overall it’s pretty fun
I find it kind of funny how they decided to make the feet move but not the beak, seems like it would have cost more for the moving feet and it doesn’t look as nice as the beak would have, if they had to do one or the other why not the beak? other than that it looks pretty good

There are the 90's Furby, 2005 Emoto-tronic Furby, 2012 Furby and Furby boom and the 2018 Furby.
Yeah, there were a few versions in between the original and now. I think I might have had the Furby Boom as well. I’ve always been a fan of them

As far as I know, these should be 5th generation. There were 90s, the emotos which kind of got flack for being more gremlin looking, Furby Boom, and don’t forget Furby Connect.
My thoughts on this generation, they seem like a step backwards. I loved the LCD eyes on Boom, the different personalities….. They could’ve made these similar and able to receive firmware updates for further functionality, more of the sill eye and personality stuff, maybe new games/activities…..
Aside from that, I remember Shelby as part of gen 1 Furbys, Furby babies, Gizmo, ET, and Boom had the less functional Furblings.

This one is much easier to understand, which I like but also miss the Gizmo-talk of the older one. It’s ears lighting up is a plus. I was slightly creeped out by the original😂. Might get one this time. Does it still talk to itself if left on?
Yeah, much easier to understand. It still speaks Furbish, but mostly English right out of the box. And yes, it talks to “itself” when left alone. The phrases are more conversational, so it talks as if it’s talking to you…even if you aren’t listening lol
Too bad his month doesn’t move but I love that the feet move now. I am saving up for one. I still play with my old Furby’s as well❤
I wish the mouth moved as well. Other than that, this is one of my fav versions

Just . . . Wow! I love him! I was “too old” to go through the original Furby craze so I have no firsthand experience with any version. But this is so cute! Much better than many of the other “talking” or “alive” type pets I’ve seen on your channel.
Yeah, Furby is definitely in a world of its own in that regard. And you’re never too old! 🥰
I was surprised to realise how old I was when I had the original furby. Seeing the date it was released in the UK I was 17 years old! 😅
The " Ooh La la la la everybody loves you Furby" song sounds like Cartman from Southpark is singing it. Once you hear it you can't un-hear it.

Awesome video! I am definitely getting two of them. I love that there’s a tutorial when you first turn it on. I have the 90s Furbies, at least five of them still in box, and a couple of iterations of the Furby, as it evolved. I’m definitely a furby collector, for sure. I just purchased the 1999 Furby clock, as well. Awesome video!

@@TheUpsideDownRobot I have heard of them. I sure hope they don’t have circle batteries, like the other little Furbies did. Did you get two of the original Furbies, when they first came out? I can remember as a kid, having the tropical furby. That one was a pretty cool Furby. is it worth getting two 2023 Furbies? Do they interact well enough? Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
@@shauntecknoI have never had 2 at the same time. I can’t even remember what color my original one was. This new series is supposed to interact well with each other, but I have not tested in person. I have some of the minis, so video coming soon!

I decided on a whim to get one from Target because it was on sale, watching this now I think I'm quite happy with my purchase. I've been debating getting a furby off and on for a couple years (mainly due to the memes, customization scene, and oddbodies). I used to have a 2005 Furby and kinda miss the cursed vibes, but I just find little robot critters interesting (mainly because until high school, I couldn't have pets cause my dad is allergic to fur). I was debating between the purple and coral, but I decided I liked the color pop on the coral one best. Who knows tho, I might see about customization in the future.
I was pretty pleased overall with this updated Furby. They are pretty fun. I like robot critters too! Happy you got one!
I have an absolutely ancient model of roboraptor who can only wiggle in place and sounds more like static then a dinosaur whom I love and adore. Plus a similarly functioning ancient roboquad. Might get into repair forums to see if i can't improve the poor thing's movement.

Did you not realize they have remade and sold new versions of Furbys since 2012?
I was aware of a version or 2, like the connect, but that was about it. This version is the official re-brand/re-release.

Me too because the other apps were on iPhone and I don't really like the iPhones personally. This one is also a better price than the furby connect which was 120 in this one is 69

I’m honestly really disappointed in this furby, it’s a downgrade from the last one honestly. No LED eyes, the mouth doesn’t move, and there is no app that comes with it. How are they going to release something with less tech years later.
I’m disappointed that the mouth doesn’t move. I’m ok with no app, it got old quickly. I enjoy that I don’t need another device to maximize play time. But I definitely understand what you mean!
I like the emototronic furbies best. Their mouths move and they have pretty eyes that aren't glowing pixel screens that display hearts.
When they sing they also don't suddenly have an entire orchestra inside them.
Personally I think the focus should be more on a cute living gizmo like pet and the natural limitations that would come with that. Vs robot things that explain how to operate and command them around. That's a different market to me.

I’m not sure it’s a parody if it’s made by the same company. But I get what you’re saying. While it’s not exactly the same as the original, I think it’s just as fun and has a lot of improvements
