    Idle no more? So the Indians are going to get jobs and work? Wow. Good on you people.

    • @cbybailey

      The Idle No More movement was initiated by activists Nina Wilson, Sheelah Mclean, Sylvia McAdam, and Jessica Gordon in November 2012, during a teach-in at Station 20 West in Saskatoon was held in response to the Harper government's introduction of Bill C-45.
      C-45 is a large omnibus bill implementing numerous measures, many of which activists claim to weaken environmental protection laws. In particular, laws protecting all of the country's navigable waterways were limited in scope to protect only a few waterways of practical importance for navigation. Many of the affected waterways pass through land reserved to First Nations.

    Does this mean the government will no longer take 40% of my check to pay for you people? If so then great. Good on the natives for finally wanting to contribute to society

    • @missxalim6822
      @missxalim6822 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Idk what ur giving your money away for, but absolutely nothing goes to natives from tax payers. There is an allotted amount of money the government has that is given to nstive peoples none of it comes from the citizens.

      Dixon B. Tweanerlags My Tribes financial earning of 7 %. Goes to the State...within the last 5 years I’ve paid approximately $40,000 towards TAXES...my daughter paid more. God Bless you today and Happy Holidays. So I’m paying toward a government who slaughtered my relations... nevertheless, I receive and than give back ungrudgingly...🙇🏻‍♀️🤔🙏🏽👍🏽🔍🇺🇸💕🕊

      @@gregericson6177 Why the hell are you even here? What is is about natives that bothers you so damn much?
      I'll never understand this type of mindset.

      Bless your beautiful spirit great keepers and protectors of our Mother Earth. May the Eagle return home to his rightful place. I respect Native peoples so much, the haters are small and sick in spirit, like that commenter guy who knows nothing of what he speaks. Much Love to you all, thank you for sharing your very powerful song 💞
