There’s something so visceral and raw about the old graphics that made the fatalities even more terrifying than they are now. They haunted me for months as a kid!
its just cause it frightened u as a kid the old graphics are goofy as fuck
I think part of that is because of the digitalized actors, so I can see that fucking up a kid.
@@BsKHacker Not only that, the CRTs back then blended all the jank together, so the graphics looks almost like they did today. 😂😂

Because we were kids and kids are easily impressionable. Plus, Mortal Kombat was a new experience, adding the fact that it was an incredibly violent game unlike anything before. Now we're adults and MK has been part of pop culture for decades.

I love how Jax has to slam his fists together like 6x before he does brutalitys. Like your Really going to be able to do this in a actual single player fight
Think that just actually requires him to be at a certain heat level for his arms, not the fist slam. Will check up on that though.
You don’t have to actually do that, if you land punches with him that will also heat up the arms

Is it just me, or does anyone else prefer the brutalities from MK11>MK1?
With MK11 there's a feel to it that like the input and brutality animation are all in one, whereas MK1 it feels like there's the input, then a noticeable pause, then the brutality animation to follow.
Might be nitpicking, but idk, just feels more satisfying hitting an MK11 brutality.
I kinda like it - it reminds me of the old fatalities from the OG games, where there was always that input pause.
Yall just had to find someway to kill reptile in every game. Even in ones he ain’t in

For Jax's fatality to brutality you can actually keep it in the family because Jacqui's double kick (X,X combo MK11) transitions almost equally into what Jax used to do. But Shang having a close resemblance to the fatality works just as good lol Kool vid tho 😅

The new brutals are a unique way of using the old fatals but the old brutals were comical and fun to watch.

I feel like the pacing of having the word Fatality before announcing the winner is way better. I understand the charm of the old games but I much prefer the pacing of the newer ones sometimes.

The new ones have a lot more detail (except for the kabal one) and don't leave as much up to your imagination. As well as being immediate instead of having an obvious pause. Hope this was enough to change your mind.
