A beautiful 20 warp Kumihimo! I love your designs and shared them on some Kumihimo FB groups. I am going to try one of these with the warps, that make the main Spiral, using delicas or size 11 seed beads! How would I calculate the length of the know warps for an 18 inch necklace? It is so difficult to calculate the material for a necklace because the braids have different levels of tension. But with this design your method is good. 3 or 4 times the desired length will be a great calculation.
Gracias Patricia. Lo hice con un hilo de seda ke venden aca en Japon y no se encuentra en otro lado. El material se llama rirya pero tu lo puedes hacer con cola de rata de un milimetro de grosor o con hilo de madeja para bordar.
Hola Leticia. Mi tutorial de kumihimo mas reciente es de 32 hilos. Si kieres hacer pulseras con esa cantidad de hilos necesitas el telar de 64 ranuras. Esa pulsera de Ying Yang la hare como tutorial esta en mi lista solo espero los colgantes para hacerla saludos.

can these be made with hemp cord or does it have to be satin nylon cord.
You can make them with any kind of cord.....the effect is a little bit different, but they always look amazing.

Como harías un diseño de 32 hilos en el kumihimo? Ya que ahí un diseño de ying yang de 32 hilos y no se como hacerlo en el telar kumihimo.

Yo fabrico telares kumihimo, el redondo, cuadrado, octagonal. Próximamente frabricare, el de 48 ranuras
