Awesome Devlog! I also watched the last one and was wondering about how you implemented the conveyor belt logic. I am quite sure that you didn't use physics and rather opted for a logically based approach, if so, what algorithm did you use and is there a good tutorial to explain it? :)
Thanks 😊 It was still at prototype stage, so unsure if I will do the same for the final one. Basically each belt stores a list of its items and their progress through the belt as a 0..1 float. Once the progress passes 1, the belt tries to "handover" the item to the next belt
@@madrededios77 How did you solve "finding" the next belt? Did you raycast? How did you solve the problem of having a belt run into another belt sideways, I imagine the sideways belt might also be "found" and registered as a new belt. How would you know that you could "give the next belt your item"? What if the next belt was full, but the last item was at position 0.1, would the item be between that belt and the belt that tries to pass it there? Thanks for answering my questions! :)

When does this come out and where will it go steam?
I am expecting a release on Steam yes! As to the final release date, I do not know. However, I am looking to have a public free demo this year! 😊

What is that release tracking tool you are using? "Backlog"?
It is Notion 😊 I also use it for design document, writing the scripts for the episodes etc! It's great
