@@AllINAllmusic When you are near a cavalry charge, there is something about the ground trembling, a bit like when a truck or train pass near you. but for those its here and gone in half a second, while here it last. sorta like the bass vibration you feel in the gut, on a theater or concert. I think VR headset can emulate the noise, the dust, but not that. I would say that the closest emulation you can have is to being charged by a wall of police in a protest. Easier and easier to find those.

I improvised the solo in my messy sorta manner and I kept on wanting to redo it with a different tone but the way it came out in the first attempt was just always better.

Was hoping for the Gourmet bringing all the boys to empire with a milkshake. I mean it makes sense from a lore perspective, they'd be easy to make in icy lands like Skyrim, imperials are referred to as milk drinkers, I think milkshakes are french and imperials are supposed to be inspired off that part of the world too? Also, empire only has male soldiers, aside from Rikke I guess and other uniques. So it definitely brought all the boys to the empire. Still a surprise to be sure, but always a welcome one
It triggers me that the saddle blankets are animated as if they are a shifting cutout with the pattern beneath (so that the edge of the blanket changes what part of the pattern it actually ends at) while the shields are a static pattern that moves with the shield for a consistent image.

Imagine you’re a peasant and you’ve just been conscripted into your lords army. You’re wearing worn out boots, an old gambeson, and a cheap helmet that doesn’t quite fit you, because it’s a hand-me-down from your grandfather. You’re marching in formation toward a large hill up ahead. As you and men begin to near the hill you notice it, the ground is rumbling underneath your feet. You notice some of the men are panicked. You can hear some of them praying. Your worst fears have come true. On top of the hill stands a large mass of mounted knights staring down at you. Dispute all the colors the knights wear you can’t take your eyes off the tall lances covered in blood pointed to the sky. You then begin to accept your fate knowing they won’t take prisoners. As the knight begin their charge, the thundering of horses can be felt in your stomach. There lances lower as they descend down the hill like a wave of death. The formation breaks as everyone tries to make a run for it, but its too late. Men are either impaled by lances or ran over by angry warhorses. Those who had survived the charge are quickly put to the sword. It is a one side bloodbath, the sound of carnage echos through out the mud and blood covers battlefield. You find yourself on your back looking at sky. It seems all is calm, the battle is over. All you can see are your dead comrades laying in mud. But, as you try to more you realize you are just another casualty, as you finally noticed the lance in your gut pinning you to the ground.
The knights are obviously the milkshake, which is in itself an iteration of AllInAll's work, the two characters appearing near the end represent the boys brought to the yard, people "applauding" the charge, ie appreciating the piece, an appreciation which is balanced out by the other character wielding a whip, as to say "go faster, make MORE, you dumb lazy re(etc.)"; more specifically, it's me, because I love it and I want more sweet sweet lactose, but it's pretty challenging to applaud while CHIMming so I opt for the whip in the other hand.
Don't heart me if you're going to heart everybody else, how am I supposed to feel special? Now back to whipping...
