Very interesting video guys , in Canada eather you have kids or not you still going to pay the deposit, and believe me, if the total amount for the month is 1500 hundred, that's gonna be the same amount for the deposit.
I guess in my country El Salvador is not that bad ,what I notice with foreigners in El Salvador ,is that they always have some negative to say this and that etc, etc , if you left your country for whatever reason and move to onother country, there's going to be some pros and cons.
Every country have good and bad, and I say it because I know that, 34 years living in Canada and I am thankful for the good and also for the bad experiences, it has not been wonderful but we adapted the culture and the ups and downs and we loves this country and very thankful for what we have accomplish working hard from 5 to 5 , paying higher taxes, life is not easier in any country, but that's life .
I appreciate your videos guys, thank you .

Hola Sara! Thank you for watching and sharing your experience. You’re absolutely right. I have lived in Italy, Germany, Norway, Florida (US), and Portugal, and I can definitely confirm that every single place, every country, has its pros and cons. Moving abroad is a big adjustment.
We feel blessed and are extremely grateful to be here in El Salvador. One of the goals of our content is to ensure we set the right (or, ideally, no) expectations for our audience and anyone interested in El Salvador. In the past, we’ve been accused of portraying El Salvador overly positively, even though we always strive to be as objective as possible about the pros and cons. El Salvador may not yet be for everyone, but those who come here early and help us build will reap the greatest rewards. I hope this makes sense, and thank you again for watching. 🙏

Truth is that there a lot of opportunities here. There is a lot of room from growth in most if not all industries.

But Also you can ask the agent if you can talk to the owner and you are willing to protect his/her commission that way you can talk to the owner
and make an offer direct to the owner and work the commission with the agent.

      Good tip! Thanks 🤝
Unfortunately, in our cases, the agents wouldn’t let us deal directly with the owners. That might have been because we didn’t mention anything about protecting their commission. Coming from the US, the commission is typically a given, but I understand why this happens. I’ve heard that it’s not uncommon for owners to use an agent and then refuse to pay their commission later.
There’s definitely a lot of room for improvement when it comes to work and professional ethics here in El Salvador. But hey, Bitcoin will fix this too.

Rental descrimination is very common in the US as well, there are communities who cater specifically to adults with no children, they do not advertise as such, but it is very prevalent in many communities in many states.

That’s not correct at all. I think you might be confusing it with 50+ communities, which are very clear about their terms to avoid wasting time. In the US, discrimination in housing based on things like family status is illegal under the Fair Housing Act. If an owner or agent is caught discriminating, they can face serious legal consequences. It’s not something people can get away with easily, as the laws are pretty strict on this.

@@ElSalvadorInsiders Speak by my own experience, two years ago, our daughter was born we were living in an apartment complex with mixed tenancy, suddenly we received a letter from management that due to some complains about baby crying late at night from residents (next door) requested we vacate our unit and gave us 3 months free rent to vacate and find a new place. long story I do not wish to enter into any details.

Thank you for sharing your experience, @@mrocque8327 I'm sorry you and your family went through that. It sucks! I can understand how upsetting it must have been to be asked to leave.
It's unfortunately true that some landlords may try to pressure tenants into leaving, but situations like this DO violate the Fair Housing Act if family status is a factor.
The "trick" is to offer incentives to make it seem voluntary, but the law is there to protect families like yours from being forced out due to complaints about normal family activities like a baby crying.
I know it's not always possible, especially with babies or small children who take up a lot of our time and energy, but it’s always good to know your rights in these cases. Anyway, I’m sorry you had to go through that.

I’m still orange-pilling Salvadorans. I’ve onboarded a music school, a physiotherapist, a gym, HVAC technicians, etc. I’m just focusing more on this podcast now and we are probably going to rebrand moneydelics anyway when I have time.
Anyway, thank you for your support! 🤝

Salvadorans don´t think you are rich. But a middle class american can afford to pay more than a middle class salvadoran for sure.

Agreed! Maybe they think all gringos are rich compared to Salvadorans? The thing is, not all gringos are rich or make more money than Salvadorans. Some work here and earn the same wages.
