Definitely the truth. When I got into it there was a guy that asked me what I was getting in return and I told him that was not it was about. I enjoy working for the company I’m with and over time the perks came and they helped me become a better asset to them.
Man that's really thinking outside the box,use a companies platform to put out your content,that's a great idea. John you should consider putting out boat food kits just like your missile boat kits. You definitely are a fitness guru,and have the credibility on how to keep fit and healthy,on the water or on the road healthy food packs,like that junk lunchables. Thanks

Great advice. Relationships are what makes everything better. Without the relationship and connection with reps, owners, developers, competitors and fellow anglers it’s hard to put it all together. I’m a novice video guy at best but I love sharing what I use and how I catch them so others can catch them also. Somewhat takes the wind out of guys that think it’s all mystery and secrets when you’re giving them away. That’s what makes the community better. Just keep up the great work with Missile and Spro. I’m a west coast guy that uses those brands and it’s part of my advantage.

Great video and well said. I’ve field/pro-staffed for about 10 years and this is the process I’ve pretty much followed. You have to “plant seeds”, be patient, and don’t over-kill promotion (less is more).

Thank you for this message. I need a better understanding. All I use is missile baits and i feel that you should go look at some of my videos to see how Different I fish from the banks. Only fish public pressured ponds and have no access to private waters. Pitching a baby D bomb from the bank over cat tails and being able to successfully land a 7.07lbs bass back and over the cat tails is something different. Consistent success and still learning. Only time can tell. 👍
I use the ned bomb exclusively on a 1/10 head , best ned rig I've thrown. I use the El Diablo D Bomb everytime I go out , killer bait for pitching cover and rock piles. Great video!

John, excellent video as always. I have been a big fan of missile baits ever since I found the product at my local tackle shop. I have a couple of deals similar to what you discuss in here. Photography is one of my side gigs and I go out and do photo shoots on the water or ice with various companies, providing them and their pro-staffers with great content. In turn, I get some kick backs with product. But I don’t just use said product, I also bring others out in the boat or on the ice and teach them how to use the gear, and I share tips on social media, similar to what you said. It’s not about being flashy, it’s about being helpful. How can you help the company and the sport? That is what you always have to ask yourself.
