Great video, We were just in BassPro and amazed at how empty the entire store was, Cary location. I asked why shelves were empty, and was told they just cant get product from the manufacturers. Well lucky for me, Bass Pro now has Cashion rods and a great selection. Shop local buy local, because the guys are pumping the rods out of Sanford every day. You will always find Cashion Rods on our boat -Brian and Jon Fishing
What's your opinion on The Cashion Sledge rod. It's a 7'8 Medium Heavy Moderate Fast Action Casting Rod. Is a Daiwa Tatula TTU300HL 6.3:1 gear ratio reel too slow for that rod? I bought the rod for soft body large keitech weedless swimbaits underspins I might be able to throw 6XD's with it. I don't drive so I am limited to what I can carry with me on the bus. Keep up the great work. A friend of mine just gave me my first Cashion Fishing Rod and I decided to buy the Sledge rod. I'm really impressed with the quality of the rods and I love that the rods are made in The United States Of America.
@@bassin4tay768 You would have to google it and I'm sure you'll find plenty of info. Sad as I was a big fan until then. I do believe he has tried to smooth it over some, but his timing in the midst of gun control advocates and extreme left views was not tolerated well.
Eric. Church is the best! Good to see you agree! 🤣. I have too many rods and reels. I just simplify and do what I think I need to do. Can’t wait for the new Cashion rods!
Loved it! I’d personally like another spinning rod (medium heavy) in that collection too. Just got my first Cashions! Trying em out. 1 MH spinning 1 MH casting.
Shimano hands down technology is ahead of the game. But daiwa, lews, quantum 13 fishing,Abu Garcia all make good reels but gear ratio is Key for what technique your doing
what rod would you recommend for throwing weightless soft plastics? Weightless texas rigs, 5-6" senkos, and other creature baits. I was thinking a medium power rod? As i throw a medium-heavy rod atm and it seems okay, but could be better, doesn't load up enough when casting. But if you were choosing a rod for mainly that purpose what would you choose.
I fish out of a kayak exclusively an Old Town Predator PDL. I find that the really long rods get in my way unless I'm standing up which I do a lot. But as a kayak angler I find that I tend to go Torrid not much more than say 7 foot 4 in and go down as far as a 6 ft 8 in to make accurate cash into Doc and under bushes Etc. I do have three spinning rods that I rely on fairly heavily because of the way I fish. One almost always has a wacky rig on it another a weightless either salamander or trick worm and the third one I use as my drop shot and or Ned rig. The other five rods yes I keep 8 rods on my kayak during a tournament. The other five rods are definitely baitcasters.
Need a good 6'6 medium hvy rod with a short butt for jerbaits and topwaters. Thats what I prefer but I'm a shorter guy so if ur a little taller his 7' square bill rod would work just fine.
Hey John, Im sure some people can afford $219.00 for your series of Cashion rods. I can't barely afford the Elite Series, It is Very difficult. I have to sacrifice. I'm Not interested in the CRTs. Most Rods iv'e used are over priced garbage. Cashion is worth the Sacrifice for me. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🎣
Kevin, i have both the elite and CRT. The CRT rods for the price are really freaking good. I’ve had no issues with mine. You are correct it is a price jump and hard to justify $179.00 for a rod but again for price CRT are great and made the same way the Elite and Crews rods are made just with a slightly different material.
Love my Cashion Rods. I sure would like to see you remake these 2 videos with all the new rods Cashion has available
Good idea

Excited about the new ICON series. Cashion rods are the best on the market. Thanks for these videos.
Great stuff John, even year later. How about adding your reel and line that goes with the rods.

Great video brother. But repping that Eric Church is kickass 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Lost a lot of respect from him after his 2nd amendment comments last year
@@Brandon-uo1rv Really? That would certainly change my mind too
@@Brandon-uo1rv where can I find what he had to say?

Enjoyed how you explained the parabolic action👍🐟
Is that handle a little short for a 7'11"? Thoughts? Would that be a good rod for 1/2 oz chatterbaits?
It is a little because that’s best for the technique. Too soft and long for Chatterbaits
I want massive long casts with my chatter baits, what rod would you recomend?
Like the shirt, you should do what kind of reel need on witch rods next
👍🏼
Why don’t we see so you in MLF competitions? That’d be fun to see.
Not interested in doing it. BASS is my home
Ahhh, I got ya.
Have to agree. Really would enjoy watching you slay fish on MLF!!
What is the best combo under $200 in your opinion?
Lew’s does good lower priced combos
Yess bro, keep up the vids like this broheim, absolutely love it John great job!!!!!
Awesome explanation!!

Can you go through the reels that you would put on these ten rods?

Good info. Yes, yaks are a little different in rod choice. Thanks man
Another good one John. I love those Cashion rods. Can’t wait until I get to try out one of the new Icons.
I am head over boots with my Wormin rod. I feel like if you Texas rig, the wormin Rod is top 5. I NEVER leave without mine.
How is the Mr worldwide James Watson whopper plopper rod? Had my eyes on that rod for awhile but cannot find that many reviews on it.
It’s solid. I’ll have to do coverage on it. 👊🏼
You know any place i can buy bulk rods, like a bundle
I’m assuming you mean with a deal. I don’t
