Why imitate a bad one if you can make a better one? Have you ever seen how Sony's variable zoom results? didn't you know it uses a much smaller sensor than on the X7 series or X6 series?😌

@@Bourboelettah As I said before, it requires a smaller sensor because otherwise the camera bump would be too thick
The excution is honestly bit janky and using only one sensor for both is bad idea if you want to do low light telephoto.
They will be using 890 and 858, whcih is for the best result. \
890 in tele is greatt but range is limited, upto 3x-ish max. then after that will be digital.
858 is good at longer range zoom, like shown in Mi11U and other phones.
At this point that variable zoom is not suitable for smartphone as formfactor, simply because there is a clear lack of sensor both large and can do longer range.
It's impossible. Sony has a tiny trash matrix. Moreover, the quality on the long end is terrible

First, it is not a copy, it is an evolution.
Secondly both Oppo and OnePlus are the same company some OnePlus phones are just rebranded Oppo phones, the OnePlus Pad is really the Oppo Pad that was rebranded as a OnePlus product, also the OnePlus Open is a rebrand of the Oppo Find N3 and the Oneplus Nord 3 is also a rebrand as well as the Nord N10 and N100
