Thx for the video and i just would like to tell you, it s amazing that you answer of almost all the guys in your video!!! 🎉🎉❤❤ And do you prefer vivo x100 pro or oppo find x7 ultra?
Thank you! I prefer the Vivo X100 Pro if I want a more processed look. I say it’s what the Google pixel would be like if it grew up, had a more mature tuning, great hardware instead of basic stuff used in the US, and without all the AI noise and artifacts that are so pervasive in every single Google pixel photo. The software is awful on the Vivo though. Oppo is good if you want a more natural traditional camera look and not as heavily processed. Depends on what you want.
thanks for the video stunning In your opinion, between the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and the one, is not the same device and same logic ultimately? Because it is true that Samsung is becoming more and more difficult to use in photography, for very questionable performance and even after the update where the photos are now cold and brighter to supposedly avoid noise
I have no idea. The 14U was just announced hours ago. I can’t make a judgment or review on something based on specs on a sheet. I trust Xiaomi and love their colors and tuning, but I have to verify. Samsung has massive issues with their telephoto being blurry. I don’t trust it for taking pictures consistently and find it to be cold and sterile. I certainly don’t want them to go the other way and make it overly saturated again. Just tasteful. Usually, avoiding noise can be hidden by crushing or lowering the shadows and blacks, so that doesn’t check out. It’s important to note that more contrasty and dark does not mean they’re hiding noise. It’s the look of these Chinese phones that mimics that of a traditional camera that doesn’t HDR everything but allows for that beautiful contrast and shadows many are wanting back in their photos so it looks like a real camera instead of a smartphone camera.
My last phone is Vivo x90 Pro+ now Oppo Find X7 Ultra, both of the device is a camera beast that happen to have a phone, Ive buy the X7Ultra Blue 16/512GB variant for $840 while S24Ultra 12/512GB variant for $1440, It’s a Chinese Rom so there’s no Google voice assistant or Android auto, other than that it works just like any other android phone you just need go to settings switch on the google services and log in google account and the phone will automatically download the google playstore.

I used to think that, but don't think so anymore. That's changed a lot. Vivo is what a mature Google Pixel processing would look like sans all the AI artifacts and noise that every.single.pixel.photo.has. Samsung has dull and sterile images with oversharpening. Apple makes me look like an oompa loompa. The Oppo looks more natural like a real camera, not overprocessed like a smartphone. If you want a real camera look, this fits you. The features on the pixel are great though.
Thanks for the response ! It's true the other phones really overprocess stuff, while carrying a 1" sensor makes a lot of that irrelevant. Shame it is so rare... I do wonder tho, if relying on a big sensor makes the camera less snappy? Because personnaly, even if i love the look of real camera, i'd still pick something fast that can give me a nice enough photo in all condition, as i have a regular Sony Alpha if i want to take nice photos... The Vivo x100 Pro is more fun to shoot with. It's like the Google Pixel if it grew up, had great hardware, and the processing was an AI artifact, noisy mess like it is now.
Great video! I really wish that things were different and the US wasn't such a hostile market for the Chinese. As it stands now I can't blame OPPO for steering clear of the US. It would be great to see OPPO Xiaomi, Vivo, Huawei selling here in the US with all the customer support and services you would expect from a company with a physical presence in the market. The one area that I disagree with you on is the software and I think that's too subjective for there to be a "right" answer. What I do know is that I have the OnePlus Open and the Zfold 5 and while I will conceded that the camera hardware on the Open is significantly better than the Zfold I'm not so sure about everything else. I mean in my opinion the inner screen of the Open is a lot better than the Zfold 5 not only because the crease is less but because it's considerably less reflective. But that's it as far as hardware superiority goes imo. In personal use I've discovered that I prefer the Zfold's dimensions overall. It's just better for me but that's because I have the beginning of arthritis in my hands so not having to stretch my thumbs saves me a lot of pain. But even if that wasn't true the difference in software would keep me choosing Samsung. It's not that OPPO/OnePlus software is bad, far from it. I think for a lot of people that's actually going to be the better software, but for me I find OneUI much more pleasing to use. I think of all the brands I've used only Huawei has given me an experience enjoyable enough to get me to switch from Samsung. And to be honest if Huawei had a presence here in the US market there's a very good chance that I would be typing this on the P60 pro or Mate X5 instead of a Samsung. And while there's a chance that Vivo or Xiaomi could provide the software experience that I'm looking for I just can't justify spending that kind of money on something I don't know is going to meet my needs or not. But I'm curious enough to be considering buying a budget Xiaomi just to mess around with the software and see how I feel about it. 😅 If you read this far SORRY for not being very topical but as of now Huawei and OnePlus are my only points of comparison that I currently have to draw on.
Sorry about the arthritis. I can see why that makes you prefer the different form factor. I personally don't like the Galaxy Fold aspect ratio. As for software, I still prefer ColorOS more than OneUI. I think the reason why so many say they like OneUI more comes down to familiarity. It takes time to understand how OnePlus/Oppo works and takes effort to not use it with the expectation that it works the way OneUI does. When you remove those pre-concieved notions or expectations, I find it to be a far more streamlined, clean, and easy to use experience. This was an issue for someone in my Discord, but over time, he's beginning to come around to it and understands how it's really great in its own unique way. The multitasking is especially fantastic on the Open as it makes so much more sense than the tapping around menus and awkward overviews you see on OneUI compared to how fast, smooth, and easy it is on the Open.
@ThisIsTechToday As I said, I actually agree with you that for most people ColorOS/OxygenOS is probably more going to provide a more than good enough software experience. And honestly there's a lot to like about it. I've never really understood why a segment of the tech community has been so hostile to the OnePlus/OPPO merger. The thing is that as much as I truly like OxygenOS, the reason that I prefer OneUI is the customization options, especially with goodlock. Modes and Routines I also find very useful and underrated. But, and I don't like admitting this because I feel pretty shallow for it, but I really love the Samsung theme store 😅🤦♂️😅
Huawei is the best. Have been switching to all flagships with different brand but none meets my expectations. None of them beats Huawei. 😢 So heartbreaking. I hope Huawei is back with Google.
@cwsky1752 I think I said Hauwei is the one brand that I've found who's software is good enough to replace Samsung in my life and their hardware is miles better. But for anyone living in the US the experience of using a Huawei device is just too compromised. If not for the ban I'm pretty sure I'd be typing this on the P60 pro or the Mate X3 instead of my S24U 🤷♂️

My Galaxy doesn't have cracks. What the heck are you talking about? The iPhone is the first phone I've cracked in over a decade. AppleCare+ is there for a reason.
For me I love to use emulators on my phone, and they are often optimized for the SD, Dex is a huge plus in my job as I use my laptop daily; so I guess S24U is a more logical choice. But I love the camera on the Oppo and the design.
Oneplus is a downgrade of this lineup, yes. They're essentially the same phone with different specs, specifically the camera and design. They are starting to share the same hardware more and more, the OnePlus Open and Oppo Find N3, for instance. The only difference is the logo on the back and in the software. Easily beats the Samsung Galaxy Fold for hardware, and I'd argue software. Unbelievable phone.
Being honest - overall the S24U pics you showed looked generally better. On pic I do see a touch more detail in the background but otherwise I thought the better pic was the Oppo till I looked below the pics.
I sent back note 10 just because battery (small note it was not a big one) and TERRIBLY CURVED SCREEN. USA do not need to even ban this company in West as we do not like those type screens 😂
I had it before the S24 ultra, the software is really terrible, many apps don't work the way they should work, inconsistent so happy with the S24 ultra (coming fro 15 pro max)
For now I've seen 2 comparisons of pretty shitty quality and X14 U did not perform better. And well... You know Xiaomi and Oppo share the same sensor, right? Right?! So lets wait for some upcoming software updates, as lenses are pboth great in those two.
Owning Oppo Find x7 Ultra. The only thing about its camera i unhappy with is its macro. Very bad. Not only cant focus properly, it also keeps switching on and off the macro mode. Macro mode is also on different lens than 3x lens. So, when macro auto-off on its own and back to previous lens, then, the object is off from the camera target. Then, have to target back to turn on macro mode. Then, back to macro mode, object is away from target again. Then, re-aim it. Then, suddenly macro mode auto off again. Then, repeat re-aiming actions... 😑
Well, in fact we do. Oppo Find X7 Ultra (head to head with S24, but much cheaper - the only con is no flat screen in Oppo, and I prefer flat screens), Vivo X100 Pro and upcoming Pro +, Google Pixel 8, Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

@@giaether3986not even top 5 ? 😭
One day, Apple will start making android phones 📱 🤣
You don’t have to wait because both are becoming more like each other every year.
Facts😂😂
Damn, mans really pushing his phones. His IPhone and Galaxy had cracks. No thanks gang, imma continue to use a case and screen/glass protectors.
My Galaxy doesn't have cracks. What the heck are you talking about? The iPhone is the first phone I've cracked in over a decade. AppleCare+ is there for a reason.
@@ThisIsTechToday sorry. I thought I saw a line/crack on one of the Galaxy's Camera lense.
Good phone ❤
Yeah, it's pretty awesome.
For me I love to use emulators on my phone, and they are often optimized for the SD, Dex is a huge plus in my job as I use my laptop daily; so I guess S24U is a more logical choice. But I love the camera on the Oppo and the design.
Yeah, Dex is pretty awesome. That's very true! I don't use it too often, so I prefer the Oppo.
there's a global version of Oppo, called One Plus.
It’s not the same phone specs. I literally have both and talked about it in the video.
What a BS :D
The S24 Ultra killer is the new OnePlus 12.
That is based off of this phone. They’re made by the same company.
Nope, poor software, A.I. Features and camera.
Oneplus is like a downgrade version of Oppo dude. And the Find X series is the flagship line in the family
I want so oppo n oneplus make s pen
A great phone
Being honest - overall the S24U pics you showed looked generally better. On pic I do see a touch more detail in the background but otherwise I thought the better pic was the Oppo till I looked below the pics.
Interesting. I don’t know why you’d say that when it was blowing out highlights, had glare, and was blurry. Maybe you’d have to see them up close.
Available in :
Europe ❌
South America❌
Africa❌
North America❌
My man, that is literally part of the premise of the video. Pay attention.
@@ThisIsTechToday It was not a criticism🙂
Neither was mine. 🙂
@@iAfroTechIt's available in SEA which is a bigger market than EU, Africa and South America combined
Hate curved screens since s7 💩 edge
I sent back note 10 just because battery (small note it was not a big one) and TERRIBLY CURVED SCREEN. USA do not need to even ban this company in West as we do not like those type screens 😂
I had it before the S24 ultra, the software is really terrible, many apps don't work the way they should work, inconsistent so happy with the S24 ultra (coming fro 15 pro max)
I personally don't like oppo because the xiaomi 14U is better but oppo find x7 ultra will not have a global launch only oppo find x8 will have it
The 14U just came out. No one knows if it’s better or not. Stop playing.
For now I've seen 2 comparisons of pretty shitty quality and X14 U did not perform better. And well... You know Xiaomi and Oppo share the same sensor, right? Right?! So lets wait for some upcoming software updates, as lenses are pboth great in those two.
Yes, lets wait.
@@ThisIsTechTodaywe should watch your content Wich called 14Ultra Vs x7 Ultra asap😅

Thank you!
Not even close.
S24U has smol sensor.
S24 ultra is king
Eh. It's mid.
@ThisIsTechToday in your own personal opinion. Where as many other would disagree

I dont think we have anything that can kill S24 Ultra at the moment.
lol. Hey everyone. Here’s the guy that didn’t watch the video.

I switched to this phone from iPhone 13 pro max. After almost 1 month of using it, I can say this phone is a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT, especially the camera. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 I didn't expect that.
You live in France. They don't even sell it there. Sus.
