Hey girl!! If you want the flowers on top of the card just right click on the invitation, go LAYERS, & BACKWARD. And it should put the card inbetween the mock-up card and the flowers 🌻🌻🌻
Love this video. My biggest hang up on starting any type of shop , and I know it's a stupid one, is I want an Ipad and apple pen. I know there are other tablets and such, but that one just seems to have the best apps. This is holding me back bc I don't always have inspo when sitting at my PC. I want to be able to create something, anywhere, when the inspo hits. I want to create a shop for something so bad, but I am just less motivated being at my PC bc I am here often. I am a stay at home mom, who is preggers with baby 3, and money is tight. So, I can't get one anytime soon. I know you don't NEED one to start creating thing is, but it would just make it so much easier for me to do things when the inspo hits. If I ever get the courage money and capabilities to start a shop, your videos will help MAJORLY. Especially this one. This is such good information that should be able to help so many people. I'd buy your course if I could afford it rn.
I don't think it's stupid! But I guess it really depends on what KIND of product you want to offer in your shop. I'm assuming you want to design your own things on Procreate or something. Perhaps you could look into getting a 2nd hand iPad? If the main purpose is to use it for design, you really don't need a new one or the newest generation. I got a 2nd hand iPad last year for around $300 and I literally only use it for Procreate and to read books. But you're also right about not NEEDING an iPad to start an Etsy shop. It all depends on what you want to design! I wonder if you could maybe switch up your environment if you're just using a laptop for designing. Perhaps then you'll get some more inspiration? It sounds like you have a lot going on, but if you really want to start an Etsy shop and if you even have 15 minutes a day to work on it, I'd say go for it!!! Don't fall into the mindset of "If I only I had XYZ, then I could do ABC."
I also don't have an IPad and i noticed how it delayed me from openingmy shop, but when inspiration strikes, I like doing a mock-up on a pen and paper notebook and downloading a picture from Pinterest that looks like something I can draw inspiration from. Also, with regards to creating a planner, I usually do one page per day, and after a while, you will notice the progress and tweak what you dont like anymore. I'm not sure of this method will work for you, but just try and test it out.
Why not do affirm payments? I got my brand new M2 chip for 12 payments of like 120$. If within the first month you make $120 in sales.. then you just paid your iPad. You should at least open a shop even if you aren't going to list right away because older shops usually rank higher in search

you can change yhe order of the layers: just place the plant shadow to the back and then the other elements can be clicked without having to move the plant shadow to the side
But what if I want the plant shadow at the very front? Haha then I need to keep it at the front and move it to the side if I want to move the other elements
I'd say in general, create your own things that are as different as you can / a completely new variation of whatever's out there. I never had a problem, even when using pre-made Canva templates because the products I created would look completely different from the original templates I used. I mainly use the templates as inspiration and as a backbone to work off of.
This is far from true. This is pretty basic stuff. Your personal experience is not a gauge for determining "average". I've had a shop for years that's very successful and many friends who also sell, these are basic concepts that you should already know. If not, search for beginner or new user tutorials. You can lock the shadow that you do not have to move it all the time. Just click it and then activate the lock on the top right :)

Yeah there are inconsistencies on mobile and desktop. So for mine on mobile, there is a gray space on the top and bottom.

I'd say in general, create your own things that are as different as you can / a completely new variation of whatever's out there. I never had a problem, even when using pre-made Canva templates because the products I created would look completely different from the original templates I used. I mainly use the templates as inspiration and as a backbone to work off of.
