Game was exciting at first, but quickly turns into a DayZ lobby. Starting off I barely find any loot to kill other players. Lobbies feel small when you got teams of 3 running around. Too much items that give your position away too, I personally think it’s annoying. Like I’m getting constantly hunted down by teams as a beginner with no weapons. I’d say it’s a alright game but idk if I’d still play further.
lone wolf it. still feels less compact but some maps will have less players than others due to size. u also got to memmorise common loot spawn locations as well as every spawn on every map to get used to where people normally run to what gun crates u can find and grab for easy weapons and ammo and where to get the quick drop on a player. if u cant manage to pick a player off with 1 bullet to the head while moving or get a quick drop with a spray and control ur aim, expect to lose ur loot if u cant fight back. people go for kills over looting because its far kore rewarding. so people will play aggressive for loot even if they dont need it. and forget about teaming because thats near impossible. camping as well wont do much good either against cracked players with a 6th sense. if they expect to be shot at, they will play dumb to get the drop and make u unsuspecting of their advantage.

Very fun game overall. Definitely still worth playing as they are still updating it and adding new features years down the road. It definitely takes a good bit of playing to get used to, I’d suggest playing the shootout mode to get good at the fighting mechanics before risking your good loot in encounters. But very fun and engaging game overall
what a bad combo. im sry but when i played this game for 3 years straight and became the best player on it at the time, there was a steriotype f9r these types of players. bugle users were wannabes who thought they were good but couldnt compete. their ego came from killing noobs or those who dont fight but when faced with an actual sweat, always died instantly. before the armour annoyance. headshots were always a 1 shot unless it was the pm i think. all it took was to crossmap someone with an ar by a pixel perfect headshot and barely in render distance and u easily won. i even got some kills on people out of render distance.
@@unboxing_legend7708 If you don’t mind me asking, how many hours do you have in vigor? I only have 302 hours on it. I’m just looting and goofing around with my friend. @@squirrels666 to be fair I watched a video at the weekend that showed changing some settings and it pretty much gets rid of all the recoil. Much better now
the reason for that is, players like myself who have played it for long enough, no all the spawns and most spawn locations even for guns and specific materials. if we spawn close enough to another spawn, we will just rush it and get u out the lobby in seconds to lower the risk in late game for the airdrop. regardless if it was boosted or not never mattered really. as for shootout, no one could compete woth me on there at the time either. i practically owned the game modes whenever i played them. i was the best at the time after all.

i played this for 2 years straight about 3 years ago. i stopped playing it and left the xbox vigor group i was in because it was around the time they added armour plates and some annoying stuff in where 1 shot headshotting wasnt always possible anymore and with the edition of a new wave of players, everyone was camping exits, bush camping and making the match extremely slow. to say its like tarkov is a loose yet fair comparison. when i played it, it felt the same as tarkov just without being able to modify guns just what u take in or out. i had my best memmories on that game because i managed to kill top worldwide players on that game many times despite not being near top worldwide myself. id kill the whole lobby with just grey items, id pull off some very clutch plays and overall i really loved playing both 3rd amd 1st person. it was fairly easy to use both once u got the hang of it, it was just tracking ur shots to kill players like me who were movement kings. i mainly stopped playing it cause i wasnt facing competition anymore, id done pretty much everything and i had multiple of the new weapons and items each season. i came back a few times but each time wasnt that exciting. just players tryna ruin the game even more and the devs putting in things that personally to me made 0 difference or too little to care about.
Yesterday I was sitting in queue for 5 minutes without finding a match... So I cancelled the queue and tried to find another match with different game mode... I cancelled after 4 minutes and closed the game. I feel like EU servers are dead?
they arnt dead its just the server problem with matchmaking isnt that great tbh. alot of people prefer other maps than the ones u may want to play so some will wait for the rotation of the maps they want to play, will play a different game mode or just wont queue up yet and do something else until they see the map they prefer. when i used to play it, sawmill and the mountain edge which is fyellkanten in norweigien were typicall 2 of the most common maps people played. there were other maps but i dont remember the names for them. the 1 other i remember was fiskke fabrikk which is fish factory in norweigien. it was fairly popular at times just wasnt that favoured.

but how and why, u dont even explain it. the game years ago had far more issues than it did now. its far more polished than it was and ive seen alot of comments where people still arnt aware of many game mechanics and know how to play. that comes down purely on u ur self not the game. it has similar aspects to tarkov. a 1 life system and u choose weather u want to fight loot or just survive and hope u can run with the airdrop crate. if u make a bad choice, u lose the gear u gained. just face the fact people know how to outplay you.

no its not that at all. since they added in armour plates, 1 shot headshots are not a thing when people use them it becomes a 2 shot instead sometimes more. this goes for the rest of the body as well. 2 shots the the head 4 or more to the body depending on the gun and where u shot plus the guy knows that he can just quickly use a medical item to heal while being shot at or equip a new armour plate if it breaks which is why he killed u. u going in without one was ur mistake. if u dont have one then u work to get them. pretty simple concept. the best of players dont need meds or armour just a weak gun and thats it.
its a console exclusive because tarkov is the pc version. it is intentionally a console game only because of this reason. console players only have this game as the only game that is similar to tarkov. pc players have tarkov, day z, h1z1 when that was once a thing and many other games that console players wish they had.

As an early release player i can confirm its somewhat pay to win in small ways and it usually requires you actually do good to get something out of it. Insurance is pay to win just flat out. It allows you to bring whatever you want and not have a risk of losing it sometimes even giving you back loot youve picked up mid encounter Less pay to win because it requires skill would be paying for more loot or better airdrop. Both of these require you to try and actually survive.
i disagree. i had fought many early release players and theyve all been dog at the game (talking about 4 ish years ago and longer). i was the best at that time even beating top worldwide players on the leaderboard and making a name for myself despite not being close myself. i didnt care about getting my name on the leaderboard, i just wanted to prove it means nothing because i was a 20k positioned player who managed to beat a top 100 top 500 and top 1000 player. definately wasnt p2w in my eyes. p2w implies u had an advantage with whatever u bought to use in the game. there wasnt anything p2w. it came down to pure skill. u could have the best guns yet die nearly every game it didnt mean anything. u can get high kills but camp and cheese to get them. that doesnt kake u good. u just had to play smart, adapt to the weapons and surroundings and outplay ur opponent which i was the only one who learnt to do that. i saw many people who had the potential but flopped and would refuse to improve.

lone wolf it. still feels less compact but some maps will have less players than others due to size. u also got to memmorise common loot spawn locations as well as every spawn on every map to get used to where people normally run to what gun crates u can find and grab for easy weapons and ammo and where to get the quick drop on a player. if u cant manage to pick a player off with 1 bullet to the head while moving or get a quick drop with a spray and control ur aim, expect to lose ur loot if u cant fight back. people go for kills over looting because its far kore rewarding. so people will play aggressive for loot even if they dont need it. and forget about teaming because thats near impossible. camping as well wont do much good either against cracked players with a 6th sense. if they expect to be shot at, they will play dumb to get the drop and make u unsuspecting of their advantage.
I literally just downloaded it and the only things ive come across that us a slight problem us loading into a game right away might take a bit. And you have the normal sweaty players like any game and i still think its worth playing it
I plAY ON xbox one and Playstation looks alot smoother graphics wise. It's still a fun game to pick up and play. Clothing purchases are cosmetic BUT camouflage definitely helps ya blend in more than a raincoat :)
Vigor PC early access due out in May, whoop, looking forward to this.
2 days to go! 🔥
Is there any more games like this one??
Escape from Tarkov, Arena Breakout, Hunt Showdown, Lost Light
Very fun game overall. Definitely still worth playing as they are still updating it and adding new features years down the road. It definitely takes a good bit of playing to get used to, I’d suggest playing the shootout mode to get good at the fighting mechanics before risking your good loot in encounters. But very fun and engaging game overall
love the visuals and aesthetic in the game, it feels realistic
For a free game Vigor is a fun game, I always use the Bugle F1 with armor plates. Can’t go wrong with that one.
what a bad combo. im sry but when i played this game for 3 years straight and became the best player on it at the time, there was a steriotype f9r these types of players. bugle users were wannabes who thought they were good but couldnt compete. their ego came from killing noobs or those who dont fight but when faced with an actual sweat, always died instantly. before the armour annoyance. headshots were always a 1 shot unless it was the pm i think. all it took was to crossmap someone with an ar by a pixel perfect headshot and barely in render distance and u easily won. i even got some kills on people out of render distance.
@@unboxing_legend7708 If you don’t mind me asking, how many hours do you have in vigor? I only have 302 hours on it. I’m just looting and goofing around with my friend. We always play with these bunny hopping sweaty oily nerds. It’s like I’m playing a MLG tournament. If you can’t beat them join them right? So I play like them now. I move so quickly they can’t even hit me. And I don’t even bunny hop around. I was once in a lobby with Freakja. I’ve killed him 2 times. He was moving around like crazy. His movement was what really got my attention. Then I did the same thing. I play like them now. Only I don’t use baby oil and I leave the rain coats alone. I’m hunting these sweaty nerds. Who just go running around killing the whole lobby.
@@Macko010 whatever hours equivilates to 54 days. idk who freakja is never heard of him and its not that were sweaty oiley players either. we no the spawns on every map, the movement thing isnt hard to learn and pvping most players isnt hard. i dont personally leave raincoats alone because they could have good gear, fake being bad, are on an alt account or can easily 3rd party and kill me when im killing someone else. they are always a danger to keep am eye out for and wont give players that chance. for the best of players, people being movement kings doesnt make a difference. u mightve come across people who do very fast movements of running in a tight circle and its something that gets them killed alot by just 1 or 2 shots to the head. alot of players are worse than they make out to be which is what u got to realise. they rely on u thinking they are good to get the advantage. u will start finding crqcks and flaws in how they play as ur playing ur self. jumping or lunging in to tge sides tends to be helpful for good players to avoid tons of damage, spray n pray players and those who dont un aim quickly or just are a bad shot. u also tend to avoid headshots more even from stray bullets that way and get the bullets to hit the body instead doing less damage.
the best way to play ur matches is to have game sense and be game smart. know the locations of everything on every map, know how to turn a disadvantage into an advantage, no how to counter, how to pick off easy players, how to use cover properly hold angles and all that stuff. id say a starting point for u is to get used to switching between first person and 3rd person view while fighting or whatever feels the most comftable to use in the situation ur in. typically long range i go 1st person to get that 1 or 2 shot headshots but i have done it in 3rd person as well. from there u want to get used to switching over shoulders and incorperating that into a fight when u need it and i guess fake outs for campers. get them to waste bullets or test their reaction time, place traps down or hold the room they re in, stuff like that. i could give u a ton of tips to use but then id be going on for a good 2hrs in a single message which i assume wed both wouldnt want.
@@Macko010 somewhere down the line, when i get money coming back in and stablise mysepf again financially, ill invite you to join me on the game if your on xbox and just get you to run to the exit so u can spectate how i used to play. cant garuntee that id be able to keep up with the skill i used to be able to but ill give it a few goes. i havant played it in years because no one was able to best me not even top worldwide players on the leaderboards so i got bored and with the new wave of campers every match that happened at the time just made it extremely annoying to play because no one would move for 15mins straight from a bush.
@@Macko010 also just checked, 54 days is 1296 hours. i think i have more but i wont be able to check for a long time yet i dont think. ill check when the internet for my laptop is working again but for now thats the last i could remember.
From what I've seen in the times I've played is you have people who don't care if they get killed no matter how much loot they have, then there are people who will invite you to an Xbox chat party thing after you kill them. Or you just have friendly players but that's quite rare
I got pretty tired of encounter quickly for getting battered be decent players and constantly losing my gear. The shootout mode is great fun though :)
Gotta get good
@@squirrels666 to be fair I watched a video at the weekend that showed changing some settings and it pretty much gets rid of all the recoil.
@@Seventeen_Seconds u dont need to change petty settings to play. i played on default and learned how to play overtime and became the best player for the time and many years i played it. a literal grey m16 or grey ak had little to no recoil and outplayed even gold tier guns with ease they were that good. its why there was a time people stopped using purple gold and blue guns because simply using a commonly found and obtainable and craftable weapon is far easier to get kills with over something with a ton of recoil. even then if u lose the fight u lose very little. u win the fights u gain a ton. its how it worked back like 4 years ago.
@@unboxing_legend7708this is so fucking cringe to read lmao
It's full on pay to win your looking at 2100 crowns for basic low tier weapons and healing consumables. 690 fot a battle pass if you want some cosmetic stuff for a reasonable price. You do get crowns in game for completing challenges and from your antenna if you've upgraded it but the store is overpriced and underwhelming.
I'm new on this channel but I still Respect u❤
I’m playing this during 2024 on my Xbox series X. This game is probably the most fun I’ve had playing since when I taught my friends how to play halo or 7 days to die
Love this game, performs very well usually. You can also earn the in game crowns by playing the game and developing a generator that earns them over time 👍
What part of the UK are you from? Just curious, your accident is distinct
I played my first time yesterday got a kill then died in the radiation I'll try agin today but I loved my first gun fight it looked alot like tarcov for a second
u can switch between 3rd and 1st person btw. when i played it, id switch between the two in battle depending on the situation of the fight and adapt to whatever the fight is leading to in the midst of it. best to no the loot spawns as ur 1st thing to improve on the game. u will come across people on alt accounts so expect to lose ur gear easily to sweats. they no the spawns of every map including player spawns they no enough of how to play and have moreless every gun and tool and secret in the game
This game feels real to me.
I just picked it up for some fun. I really appreciate how a few good center mass shots drops an enemy. The content has improved from some of the videos and experiences I have had.

Dayz bruv
i played this for 2 years straight about 3 years ago. i stopped playing it and left the xbox vigor group i was in because it was around the time they added armour plates and some annoying stuff in where 1 shot headshotting wasnt always possible anymore and with the edition of a new wave of players, everyone was camping exits, bush camping and making the match extremely slow.
to say its like tarkov is a loose yet fair comparison. when i played it, it felt the same as tarkov just without being able to modify guns just what u take in or out. i had my best memmories on that game because i managed to kill top worldwide players on that game many times despite not being near top worldwide myself. id kill the whole lobby with just grey items, id pull off some very clutch plays and overall i really loved playing both 3rd amd 1st person. it was fairly easy to use both once u got the hang of it, it was just tracking ur shots to kill players like me who were movement kings. i mainly stopped playing it cause i wasnt facing competition anymore, id done pretty much everything and i had multiple of the new weapons and items each season. i came back a few times but each time wasnt that exciting. just players tryna ruin the game even more and the devs putting in things that personally to me made 0 difference or too little to care about.
Short answer to the title: Yes!
I wish dayz had the graphics of this game.
Very good Video i like it and i think i will revisit this Game on my Xbox very soon.
Playing on xbox, I rarely get paired up with more than 2 PC players...who are the ones who use mods/cheat. Not all, but a lot. Mostly paired up with xbox players so it's fair. It's hell of a lot better than before. It's fun and I enjoy it
Can you play this game offline in single player or are the developers on their multiplayer-only spiel again with this game too as well as DayZ?
Thanks for reminding me of this game. I wonder how my Crown farm is doing after all these months 😂 🤔
I just switched from switch to PlayStation. Send PSNs if you want to play together

Is it worth it most likely no you get around 12% normal players on a weak middle or good skill level and than theres the other 88% of 2500+ kills hardcore sweats who just go in spam signals to find you and anyone else to kill wait for the airdrop and fuck off and fighting them is about as Succesful as destroying a tank with a rusty crowbar there got all the really hightier loot guns items armor plates mortars and who knows what playing like crack headed flash on a freakin pogo stick and the best you got is guns from ww1 and 2 with about as much dmg per bullet that you might as well safe yourself ending up in some weak ass killing Montage

It’s rare to find peaceful players in a game. I ran into one guy who was peaceful, and one guy who was completely unarmed. I don’t really kill anyone unless I have to, but those hardcore players are the bane of the game. They’ll prey on anyone and everyone.
It’s on pc now
What a decent game god###
It’s a good game with amazing cinematics. BUT… Recoil control as non existent. Shooting is the worst part of this game
You can control recoil by pulling down slightly on your right thumb stick. Try short bursts instead of spraying the entire magazine. Hit registration can be terrible so always have some hard cover between you and your opponent.
@@disband_thebbc5933 I wouldn’t call my self a bad shot in other games. In Vigor there is some lack of skill on my end. Unfortunately, even after a few years, shooting feels like an afterthought in this game. Using weapons in Vigor give me anxiety, not joy.

You can buy crafting plans and crowns to instantly craft armor, signal detectors, nades etc.. tho you can earn and loot these items but at a way slower rate so it’s a definite pay to win but only do to you being able to have infinite supply of goodies

but how and why, u dont even explain it. the game years ago had far more issues than it did now. its far more polished than it was and ive seen alot of comments where people still arnt aware of many game mechanics and know how to play. that comes down purely on u ur self not the game. it has similar aspects to tarkov. a 1 life system and u choose weather u want to fight loot or just survive and hope u can run with the airdrop crate. if u make a bad choice, u lose the gear u gained. just face the fact people know how to outplay you.

Today i gave a person 3 headshots (Rifle) and at least 4 bodyshots (sub-machine)...during that he just walked toward me (as if he was immune to bullets) and killed me with one shot from a pistol...seems if you invest some money you can buy "miracle" helmets and armor plating🫤...i really don't like this aspect of gaming these days...
no its not that at all. since they added in armour plates, 1 shot headshots are not a thing when people use them it becomes a 2 shot instead sometimes more. this goes for the rest of the body as well.
Idk why this isn’t on PC
its a console exclusive because tarkov is the pc version. it is intentionally a console game only because of this reason. console players only have this game as the only game that is similar to tarkov. pc players have tarkov, day z, h1z1 when that was once a thing and many other games that console players wish they had.

First game back after not touching it in ab 2 years and got wiped by a trio of people who probably have never left this game since release. Every lobby is like this
As an early release player i can confirm its somewhat pay to win in small ways and it usually requires you actually do good to get something out of it.
Insurance is pay to win just flat out. It allows you to bring whatever you want and not have a risk of losing it sometimes even giving you back loot youve picked up mid encounter
Less pay to win because it requires skill would be paying for more loot or better airdrop.
