Oh heck! I doubt I’ll get my 1000 by Black Friday to upgrade my YT game. It still feels a bit overwhelming TBH.
You are such an expert that this feels a bit like a foreign language to me.
I’m listening for when my upgrade time arrives, the best I can…if that makes sense?
You are the expert in this field and I trust you. Also still a bit confused….learning new things never comes easy for me.
I suppose I would also have to start editing on a computer which I also don’t have…sigh. Doing the best I can with what I have.
Most of all happy comments are back.

You might be good with your RODE wireless mic and your iPhone.

Intresting! So if i connect a rode go mic to an attenuation cable to a passive direct box w upto -40db output from xlr to main sound board and receiver on camera.? If the main board is full and has been split once can i split it again to get my feed for this example without affecting already split main feed that is needed for there production? Im trying to get connected because the recording im getting in the church room is very echo tinny and when in post the voice seems not saveable😂prob didnt explain right anywho Wayne Thank You

You might be better served by getting something like the ZOOM H1 XLR and record a feed from the house mixer (the H1 XLR can accept line or mic signals) and then record a backup audio track on your camera and then using the H1 XLR recording as the primary audio in post. This alleviates the point of failure for a single device and the 32-bit float H1 XLR means you don't have to monitor the output from the house mixer (basically set it and forget it).

@ sounds great🤪🫶 ! F3 would work same as H1 correct? The other issue is there main board is full and already has a split and they are worried about splitting again. 🤷Thank You 🫡

@@DroseMr Yes, the F3 can be switched between mic & line. It would just need potentially an xlr adapter.
