Hmmmm. I'm not sure that I agree this time. And that's off course a rabit hole for a good conversation ;-) I'm not here because you are awesome and impress me and impress the whole world. I'm here listening to Wayne, because his Wayne. Because there is a kind of humbleness to this guy. He is human. He has his doubts and fails once and in a whole - because his human. Because he is what he is. His Wayne. And he is not here to impress me or any other else. He is just Wayne. He is 'Wayning' it out on this channel. That's what we love. We love love to love Wayne as he is. It's not a big deal. It's just life.

You're a youtuber when you get your first paycheck. You've been one for a while. Same with music. Even if you have a day job if you get paid to gig you're a professional. Unfortunately youtube is just a hobby for me and going nowhere right now.

I'm not worried about AI. In general I think AI is wonderful it allows you to leverage your own work to produce more. What sucks is souless garbage. Humans need and require human contact. They might be ok with it once or twice, but eventually they are going to figure out that all their love is going to a robot, and they will be angry. That's already happening. People will require you to reveal that everything you make is human sourced and if you cheat it will be like Ashlee Simpson caught lip synching on saturday night live. She ended up doing a weird country dance when the lip synch failed, but she was ruined. Also Mili Vanilli got ruined. I hail our AI 'bots that make life easier. But there's no way AI will take over. Humans are gonna human and they will absolutely reject it once they figure out they have been tricked. That's it. Nobody should be worrying about AI. We should welcome it. Came back to comment here after 6 months because it's your #2 video and it definitely struck a nerve.

You may run the risk of getting more comments on this video Wayne 😂. I’m very tempted to remove the studio app. My problem is ‘out of sight out of mind’ and I worry I’ll lose momentum for my channel. But I do get the obsessive behaviours having easy access to studio can create. No need to reply and have a fantastic time with your friends 😊

I'm so glad you mentioned about comments being weird lately. I've had a handful of times where I've left a comment and then it's not there. Then I scratched my head and wondered if I accidentally left that comment on somebody else's video, which would be very confusing for them!😂 Anyway, I don't take offense if people don't respond to my comments, so you can put me at the bottom of your list of people that need to be responded to. I’m a certified coach. It took me a lot of study, practice and money to gain my qualifications. The problem is that most people aren’t coaching, they’re teaching. A good coach does far more than teach. A coach’s job is to bring out the best in someone else through a process of reflection and questioning. It is not about teaching skills. Unfortunately the coaching industry is unregulated and many unqualified people call themselves coaches without the relevant coaching skills.

I couldn't agree more with what you said. I am an older and relatively new content creator and can see right through the majority of "sucess" coaches. They all want to sell something. That could be a tool, an online course or 1:1 coaching, but mainly it is the old dream of fame and fortune. Sure it is possible to get someone to teach you the basics of what equipment you are likely to need and the basics of how to edit sound and video etc. Nobody can teach you experience and creativity. It can only be learned over time. Many people want to be "a TH-camr" because they think it is easier than working a real job and will paytham a lot more money. The harsh reality is that far more people fail than succeed on TH-cam. It's just a hobby and a way of keeping my brain active in retirement for me, so success or failure is irrelevant.

Boom! Im too smart....now I can relax and just record and upload and forget about monetization and algorithms.

You know what is interesting…when I quit my job of 31 years I gave a 6 months notice and I was told you can’t teach experience. They said I wouldn’t be able to train or teach anyone to take my place. It literally takes experience. It’s sort of like Silver and Solo who did her analytics video and so many people gave that a try and it simply did NOT work. Why would it work for her and not others….perhaps it’s about the person, about their experience etc. love this video and also loved Jackie’s.

Wayne. I am so honored that you picked up my thoughts and kept going. This is an important topic because I see the desperation and frustration from new content creators and they are paying thousands of dollars to coaches. It’s just not right.

I know there are thousands of "coaches" out there. A true coach will have gone thru a training program to become a "certified" coach and apply coaching strategies to their chosen field. I wouldn't ever hire someone who didn't have AT LEAST a certificate from a coach training program. Additionally, they'd need to have some kind of history in their field. A few months of TH-cam success does not make someone worthy of being a coach. I'm glad you're bringing light to this topic. There are many ideas I have for coaching in my future, but whatever I may choose to do after I retire from teaching, I will be sure to have a certification to provide validity and value. .

I remember seeing Simon Cowell talking about this before. He was saying that he doesn't have the ability to sing, but he has the ability to spot that 'it factor' that he called "The X Factor". So like you said, he wasn't a singer turned talent scout. Rather he is able to see in others that special thing. That creative gene or whatever you call it. That has always been his talent. Seeing talent in others. Always thought that was a cool and interesting concept.

Interesting topic, love the break down of being able to set someone up for success in terms of the basic knowledge and the external environment, but the actual creation of a thing depends on the person. I’ve def shown many homies how I play and practice guitar or how I set up a computer to record things, but it will always be up to them, I can’t learn the scales for them haha be a student of the game, so true
