Drum Beats Online so we also have to Dab at the end of the groove?
If Gabe likes this I'll buy my first acoustic kit.
What kit you getting??
@@DrumBeatsOnline Well shi... after Rona I'm trying to get a Pearl Music City Custom with the one the only Meinls.
Heath Schultz i got a SJC Navigator it’s amazing and i got purple with gold hardware
@@oinkooink I'd suggest talking to them, agreeing a time of day and for how long. We all have neighbours and they can be just as loud.
Sana all
I've been playing the drums for 15 long years. Still I love watching your videos, your creativity is amazing and I can always learn new grooves. You're an awesome drummer, personality and TH-camr. Never stop what you're doing Gabe, you're bringing forth new content for both veteran and freshly new drummers. Stay safe!
You are very kind, I’m so happy to hear you enjoy the videos! Thanks for the encouragement!
I’d just like to say thank you, thank you for providing good content for us drummers and helping us to get better. We all as a drum community especially appreciate this at these difficult times. Thank you!
Max, this brings me so much joy to hear. Seriously, thank you! It is genuinely my pleasure to help you guys out!
5:40 any chance you can break this other fill down? It's what makes the rest of this feel so cool.
The people have spoken. We want the rest, Gabriel.
It's improvisation
It isn't that hard to figure it out by yourself honestly
It’s not a written thing, he’s improvising it on the spot.
This is why I love linear patterns and grooves. They sound sick when they are at speed, but also I find them a bit easier to learn than other types of grooves. I remember learning my linear gospel chop and my simple brain understands it better as its one hit at a time and you can learn it parrot fashion through repitition and going slowly. It made me learn more rudiments also in order to understand linear stuff better.
The sticks ain’t broken, they’re loved
Daniel Young 😱🤯
Love your videos a lot. Editing style, drums, everything. Thanks for some good content
I’ve just ordered me a drumset and I definitely will be following you. Appreciate the musical knowledge you’re pouring out. God bless.
Gabe, I wanted you to know that you are an inspiration to me. I love your channel. It is helping me find my long lost love again, ( My Tama Rockstar Pro ) your videos are very professional looking and your a wonderful coach / teacher. Thanks so much for giving light to my world in these crazy times!
That's amazing to hear, I'm so happy you are connecting with the drums again!
That drum fill is freaking sick Gabe
Awesome gabe..ive learned alot of cool stuff from you over the years. Always awesome
That means a lot, thanks for sharing! I'm honored to have helped you in any way!
Gabe, You are a sick drummer. I love your channel . I’m 55 and love learning the stuff you’re teaching. Thank you for sharing!
YES...! Can't wait for DBO Academy to open--I've been waiting for awhile to finally join... I might not be able to play live like I love to do again just yet, but I know I'll be more than equipped by the time we all can thanks to your channel. Thanks, Gabe--you're awesome...!
I'm very excited to have you become a part of this amazing community! ❤️
@@DrumBeatsOnline Thanks man--I can hardly wait...!
Absolutely love the sound of your snare!!
Your videos have helped me improve so much in my drumming. I just recently discovered your channel (like, after the whole pandemic started), but all the things I've learned from you in such a short period of time has made my playing astronomically better. Thanks for being such an awesome drummer and for being so helpful to all of us!
Always dig your videos, you make look easy, at least it's easy to understand! Thanks for sharing!
I keep coming back to this video because the intro is absolutely hilarious and you can tell how much fun Gabe had making it. 😂
Thanks for the lesson, Gabe! Such a tasty lick.
My pleasure Brett!
You are ridiculously in the pocket on time. Great vids!
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Great lesson. I love this beat... thank you so much
For those wondering you can purchase Used Ayotte kits much like this one. I was able to pick one up off reverb for $1400 USD. I love to see people using Ayotte kits as I always felt they are underrate.
Love the videos and I seriously love the kit. I’ve got the ayotte satin maple natural wood color wooden hoop kit with a Raya custom snare.
LOL almost had a heart attack when you played them at the same time. Reminds me of rehearsal factory in Toronto
I only have a basic kit with a crash, bass, floor tom high tom, low tom, snare, high hat, but I still try some of your beats, grooves and fills!
you are the inspiration to my drumming TH-cam channel hopefully i can be as good as you some day
I tried it today and it sounds amazing when you start to play it faster😍. Could you also make a video about the second fill at the end of the video?
hey gabe you should try to learn a different grip on the sticks try to control the with your pinky and ring fingers
Gabe- I hope you're staying safe and staying busy while the music scene is taking a break. Great lesson as usual!
Ooooof that fill is fire man been here since 30k keep up the great work
That’s awesome! Thanks for sticking around!!
Thank you so much for your content Gabe, I've started playing drum a few months ago and I already improved a lot thanks to your videos! I Can't wait to be able to play this amazing fill
I really like how you make double frame video during explanation
I really loove this lessons, can you please make a drum lesson about the kinda groove that you did at the half end, after the main one? Thank you 😊( 5:40 min )
Hello, my beautiful friend! Can you please make a tutorial on how to hold a drumstick properly and proper drumming posture? I can't find a teacher as good as you. Thanks
Gabe we see them bicep gainz 💪
You sound like Tom Holland being Spider-Man , which is awesome 😂😂
yeeeeeah, super coooool, daaamn

That is a sick fill! Thanks for the lesson Gabe!
Absolutely!
Always enlightening me with those crazy fills🤩🤩🤩 What about the last triplets fill part though?! curious of it 🤔🤔
Little late but its always a good day when Gabe posts

You’ve got this!!
Did you create this drum fill/groove? It's pretty sick🤘 thank you gabe for this video! 🥁
Dang, seems like you can put a price on Fills! Amazing and insane playing man!
Haha thanks bro!
@@DrumBeatsOnline You are very welcome my man!
Can't wait to practice this cool drum fill 🤩 thank you for this 😎
My pleasure!
Thank you so much for the outstanding content! I have become a much better drummer. I don't think I would be where I am today without DBO. Also,I know you probably get asked pretty often but You should do a video on drumset tuning. I know it is up to the drummer, but I feel alot of beginner struggle with getting a good sound. The video might include going through each drum all the toms, snare and bass. Thank you again!
The opening 💯🙌🏻💯
❤️❤️
Thanks now i can play that fill
Thank you for this amazing drumfills brother Godbless
Wow...nice vids brotha!!
Thanks!
I started to play drums when i was 16yrs old im self taught one day i hope to be as good as you.
Awesome lick. Could you please transcribe the whole beat before an after the crossover fill?
I was still trying to transcribe this as you posted this video xD thanks for the video and it's definitely worth the money
Soooperb yeah. It is fabulous.
Great vid... I swear if i can learn this i will be so stoked!!!!!!!
You've got this!
Thanks good job
Thanks man :)
This is awesome! And to me personally sounds cooler at a slower tempo
You are an amazing drummer Gabe. Have you heard of Troy Wright? He is a great drummer as well you should check out his covers.
I learned this like 8 mins but I did not see any 200$ on my wallet on the top of my snare. 😕
Haha dangit!
Check under the symbol maybe
Drum Beats Online : this is a linear fill but we are gonna break these 2 rules
Me : 😳😅
I love what you are doing and you have earned yourself another subscriber :)
master.. i wish i could play like that.
ur the best !! :) :D :P
Thanks for the kind words, friend!
hi gabe love the video! i was wondering if you’ll ever cover some more advanced aspects and styles of drumming such as jazz or latin on ur channel
It's a really cool fill, so I guess I have to learn it 🤷♂️😂
Soo.. is no one gonna talk about that sneak dab? 4:58
I don’t know what you’re talking about...
Pls do an animals as leaders cover!!
Hey mate, would love to see you do a reaction video of Alex Bent from Trivium, unbelievable drummer!
Your videos are cool.
You are cool!
can u show us how you get this killer sound ? (tuning, mic placement) :)
Dude.....how are you not endorsed by a drum company? I feel like you would be a perfect SJC artist.
I've been approached by a few different companies, SJC included. But I've been holding off for one that could maybe be a better fit for what I'm looking for specifically.
Do more pls
Question!!!!! I’m a lefty and I get so confused when learning rudiments. Do I just have to reverse the lefts and rights of normal ones???
Nah you just play it normally
very nice thank you.do you have the notation for the first triplet fill too?thanks
Cool
Luke Holland video on this quite a while ago I believe
here to see the ayotte same as mine 😎
Hey gabe....Can you Make some tutorials on ....polyrythm drum playing....i play prog metal....and i would love to learn some stuff
I actually just filmed a full course on Polyrhythms coming to DBO Academy next week!
@@DrumBeatsOnline i am not that rich...i only can afford drum sticks and a practice pad......😔
Hey bro plz teach to tune snare
I started to work on them after playing for 8 years because drum lessons are way too expensive here, in Turkey and I had no idea how to develope drum skills and what was there to learn. Now that I can find materials on the internet I started to practice hand technique.I have a problem with my doubles, the second note of each hand sounds really weak when I put some speed in my exercise.Do you have any advise or a video regarding this ? I looked it up but couldn't find one in your channel. I have been trying so many methods to improve that but it doesn't seem like I'm getting any better. Thank you for these videos btw, they are really useful.
Nice video!! +1 sub
Thanks for this Gabe 🔥. Where can we download the sheet music from please. 👊🏾
Damn! I slowed down the original and transcribed it to learn it when the original video came out! Could have just waited a little longer and had it broken down this way. Trying to pick out hits from a TH-cam video played at 0.25x speed is fricken tricky! 🤣
Great vid! Just wondering what heads you've got on your kit?
Hey i was searching ur tama iron cobra unboxing video but i didnt get it. Is it there?
Thanks for the great content! What software do you use to add notation to your videos with the play bar going across in time?
Is there a web pdf file that i can download the sheet music?
What cameras do you use?
did you play this off the cuff?
I n still a beginner !!🤤🤤
Is that a new Ludwig copperphonic.?
I didn’t know Jackson O’Doherty played drums
Hello

Hey man, my name is jagger. I’m a self taught drummer out of Mississippi and I have so much potential to become a professional drummer but there is just no potential here and I jus wanna ask for some advice on what I could do to try to pursue something like this. Anything will help, I could even show you some of my videos
It was a great video also, I could show you me doing the fill
What drum set is this?
