HVAC Jobs That Take FOREVER

Some HVAC jobs are quick and easy… and then there are jobs that feel like they’ll never end! Today was one of those days where every task took way longer than expected.
The day started off with a Hoffmann condensate pump replacement, a pretty standard job, but like always, there were a few small things that made it take longer than it should have. After that, we moved on to a zone valve head assembly replacement, another task that should’ve been straightforward but, of course, had its own little hiccups along the way.
But the real time eater of the day? Tracking down the power source for an exhaust fan blower motor. What should have been a simple troubleshooting job turned into hours of running around, tracing wires, opening panels, and flipping breakers-only to finally discover that the power source was hidden in a closet no one even knew about!
At the end of the day, it’s all part of the job. Some fixes are quick, others drag on forever, and once in a while, you run into something that makes you question your sanity. But that’s what makes HVAC work interesting-there’s always a new challenge waiting!
