I love Ariel! She's always been my favorite princess. She's the first Disney princess I was introduced to, and I think the first Disney movie altogether that I saw. My childhood bedroom was all Ariel - bedding, curtains, rugs, stuffed animals, dolls and other toys, a bean bag chair, etc. I should probably get this doll for that reason. :D I'm so glad to see that dress finally made. Disney Store's version didn't really look like it, I don't think. This one is much closer! Your tube dress is also beautiful!

I think the dress the second Ariel (The one from the cartoon) has is an allusion to the one she wears by the end of the movie, after Triton gives her legs and she's able to stay with Eric. I always saw it lavender-ish and it's shiny (I might be wrong because it's been a really long while since I've seen the movie for the last time.)

Another sponsered video?! 😲 I recently found the deluxe live action doll for $20. I think she's a Friday night finish up as the rooted lashes are uneven and need a slight trim. The stand is really nice too. I'm planning on using the box art for a mermaid display. The anniversary Ariel is nicer than I expected. My one question with her is did she get her bangs? Mattel has been slacking when it comes to giving Ariel her bangs. (Hasbro slacked on that too.) ❤
For the 35th Anniversary Ariel, the body they used for her is a new sculpt for them - a hybrid of the articulated Mattel Disney arms with the legs of a Model Muse Barbie doll! For me, it's definitely an awesome body type, especially for display!
