      Sir, one Information is not matched, that green colour on flag isnt a symbol of Islam or any kind of religion, according to history of Bangladesh there is no connection about Islam with the green colour. Green is the symbol of Green nature/ Green View of Bangladesh. Maybe who gave you that information that was a huge mistake or misconception..... And many people in Bangladesh changing the history according to the religion. Here is also a big issue. Explanation about red symbol is correct. I feel so pitty after hearing the info about the flag, some Misleading Bangali changing the history of my country and giving Misconception to the foreign peoples. Which is too much.... Btw, without that every information are perfect Sir.
      Thank You Sir.
      I hope you will find the correct information.

    I am Bangladeshi and I’m glad you’ve shown the negative aspects of our country. These days many TH-camrs come here and make “oh BD is so cultural, pretty…” type of videos just for clicks from this huge population. Ya we have good sides too but the bad outweigh everything. And we need to be more concerned and active to solve all our own problems.

    I'm very impressed by the number of Bangladeshi people in these comments that are complimenting the author of the video for portraying their country with such raw honesty. It takes a real love of your country to be open and honest about its problems and want to try to solve them, instead of being defensive and blaming the filmmaker for having the audacity to show the truth.

    I'm a Bangladeshi 🇧🇩 and this is the most honest beautiful documentary of the country I've seen so far. Apart from "oh no how kind and amazing culture they have" we also got severe air pollutation, our rivers are dead, our children cannot go outside in cities. Even walking freely for an evening is a luxury here. We've got severe lack of basic necessities like clean water, non toxic foods, housing and basic education. People suffer here. And they figure out different means to deal with it. Often by integrating all these problems as a characteristic of the nation and not realizing they can and should actually be solved for ourselves and the future generations.

      @@simon-i That's what the Capital represents. Dhaka isn't only the most important city of Bangladesh, it's also the one where people are forced to come in for every kind of official works. Which makes things even worse. Other locations aren't very impressive either, lacking basic medical, transportation and financial facilities. Building a good livable metropolitan is all about careful balance between nature and humans. No place here could achieve this yet.

    • @simon-i
      @simon-i ปีที่แล้ว

      Dhaka also has Gulshan, Bonani, Dhanmodi, Baridhara and other "HiFi"areas. They also represent Dhaka .Why to glorify only negative sides? Every city has negative sides but they don't show that. But Bengali people are weird. They make their cities nasty and tell the world that Bangladesh is dirty. Does dirt come from outer space?
      Bengali people are so evil that they cross roads without using footoverbridge ,then fall into an accident and blame the authority. They throw trash here and there , which clogs the drainage system, and then waterlogging occurs . They again blame the authority but would never use dustbins.
      The people are the main culprit. The need to be educated. Their minds should be developed by teaching how to do daily works like the Westerns.

    My husband spent a month in Bangladesh, Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, St Martin's island etc..., he came home with pneumonia, probably from the pollution and had to be hospitalised for several days. He said that the motorbikes use two stroke petrol which spews out into the roads where your car or bus is also spewing out and this is breathed in. He travelled all over and met some lovely people he was looked after very well and liked the villages with their pools of water for fish and sunken boats. The other stories he told made me cry.
    Problem is when these people and similar from Pakistan etc come to the uk they bring with them these atrocious base standards, spitting in the streets, no care for parking cars, throwing rubbish everywhere, corruption and lies etc etc etc they need educating to raise standards in these respects. Neverthless they are essentially kind and helpful.

    • @washimpatwary1446
      @washimpatwary1446 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As a Bangladeshis immigrant to the UK, I laughed at this since it's true. I would probably trust a british more than a bangladeshi. Most Bangladeshis have no regards for ethics or enviroment. They will try to get rich even if it means breaking human right laws. I know a lot of bengalis, they live in big nice houses and own multiple homes but they own factories where they pay 5 pounds per hour to illegals, students or anyone who wants to work there. I am not happy with this. I believe we should be proud and retain our heritage and culture but bangladeshis try to exploit anything they can so they can get rich. I wish they would all lose their wealth. Our country is beautiful but people are ruining it just because of plain greed, regulations cost money and they are very selfish and want to build things as cheapy as possible.

      Bangladesh got independence in just 50 years ago. It was born with 70 million people which was rare in the history. You know what, firstly, Bangladesh has to fight with natural calamities every year. Secondly it has to feed 170 million people with very limited resources. Thirdly, it was a war-devasted country with zero forex. From this stage to being the 35th world biggest economy in terms of GDP with retaining 6% growth, It's a miracle. Yes, of course there is pollution, garbage but this issue has been changing and progressing fast. I hope 10 years later when you visit Bangladesh a different brand new Bangladesh you might see.

      the well-being of life or rich countries does not depend on the amount of GDP, but depends on GDP per capita (GDP, per person per year).
      for example, it’s like this: family A: have 10 people and 10 dollars, and family B: have 2 people and 5 dollars .. my question is which family is rich and has a BETTER LIFE?
      To be precise, Bangladesh has a GDP of 440 Billion dollars, but at the same time the population is 175 million people, that is, the GDP per capita (per person) is only 2,500 dollars per year per person... and Singapore has a GDP of 510 BILLION DOLLARS PER POPULATION 7 MILLION PEOPLE AND PER CAPITA GDP 86,000 DOLLARS PER YEAR (PER PERSON).

      Which would be solved with a much lower population correct? Less population density, would lead to much less poverty, which more could be invested into infastructure which would fix sanitation. 165 million crammed in that area. Imagine if it was only 65 million. Imagine 100 million people less how much progress it could make. If every woman wasnt having 4-10 kids. Which could easily be solved with hormonal birth control measures or iuds. Or sterilization after each woman has 2 kids replacement rate 3 tops. Most countries offer tube litigation after the 3rd kid.

    I am a South Korean residing in Dhaka. While I acknowledge that this document highlights certain challenges faced by Bangladesh, I find the tone to be somewhat disrespectful and inappropriate. For instance, it is not fitting to compare people to flies. The citizens of Bangladesh are real human beings, living in a peaceful country with a mindset of kindness and harmony. At least they do not engage in the invasion of other nations, and they can bravely confront a dictator and oust her on their own, not like Russia, where this disrespecful journalist come from.

      I myself is not from Bangladesh. But you’re right with the tone of this vlogger. I would have to believe him if the entire content delivery is light and not on a documentary way showing facts, histograms etc. The last time I check legit/established program documentaries aren’t opinion based and far from derogatory remarks. I know I’ll not gain any by writing this comment but I got a ton of time discerning the tone of this guy. You can be brutally honest and tactful at the same time especially if you he wants his channel to be in a pseudo - serious docu style. I just felt bad for these people doing what they can to survive.

      As a Filipino, they should definitely give the Philippines an honest review. I guess we're just suffering the same fate with Bangladesh and some of the third world countries. Though Filipinos are highly sensitive to criticisms, so they wouldn't consider it as constructive, but rather the opposite.. We are just too proud over little things that aren't big of a deal

      This is not a documentary , this is poverty porn.
      I am not denying that Bangladesh is a poor country. Numerous researchers and journalists have prepared numerous reports on the poverty of our country. What makes this video different from everyone else's report is that he made a joke about poverty.
      He described the poor state of the Buriganga river as Venice and Paris, and described the brothel of Daulatdia as Amsterdam.
      I don't know how rich this Russian man is, but he has not learned that the poverty of others is not a matter of ridicule
