Makes sense. Starting year 3 on my learning guitar journey and am working towards locking in practice to be at intermediate level this year. Having fun and seeing progress along the way.
And then there's those of us who know all our common shapes, have no trouble getting there for the beat... and then miss beat one and come in on the 'and' or '2'.... Hard and fast rules - and that's exactly what these ideas are... can never give a full description, as people can be far advanced in several directions and then something else would have them described as a beginner. I've played for decades and by your 'scorecard' I'd be classed as a beginner - although I get out there gigging and teaching... and having a lot of fun... and learning along the way. Soloing's the bitch - just use the pentatonic they say... and then no explanation of where and how to; I have a book on playing lead that was published back in the early 80s... and it was pure 'monkey see, monkey do' - it's only now many decades on that I'm able to work out what the hell they were talking about and what they just assumed everyone would either know or just pick up by osmosis.
