As someone who has lived and invested in China for over a decade, I believe that China's government and authoritarian system ensure that they can never surpass the United States. While Chinese people are intelligent, the restrictions imposed by the government make it difficult for Chinese businesses to develop freely, hindering technological innovation. China's development in the first 40 years relied on the relaxation of authoritarianism and the demographic dividend of the laboring population, which are now diminishing. I don't think China will pose a major threat in the future; rather, over time, it may decline into a very poor country unless there are significant political changes or the collapse of the Communist Party.
Furthermore, Xi's dictatorship and the populism he has stirred up against the United States and its allied countries have led foreign investments to gradually abandon China due to political instability. Recently, the rapid decline in the wealth of China's richest individual, whose company has Japanese investment background, due to being denounced by the entire populace, is another notable example.

49:10 - it's not building that is problem. It's maintenance shipyard, that were slashed, along with workforce, by half since 1990s. And maintenance backlog of USN is growing.
I meant to say China will never give up Taiwan
Like people you never give up yourself!
"will never give up Taiwan”....... You cant give up something you never owned.
@@KodieSit that statement of yours on Taiwan says a lot of your zero GK about China which is such a big and influential country at the moment. I doubt you’re aware about countries other than where you are in.
@@ericyeo805maybe China should stop pouting, and try to take it then.
@@KodieSitit’s more like they can’t give up TW cuz they never lost it. China is the country and PRC is the current dynasty just like the ROC. Notice they both have the word China in its country name.

Great reporting. Not sure if some manipulation of information though?
CHINA IS SO BEAUTIFUL
Beautiful to whom?
The level of fear mongering (and lies) is just nauseating.
This was a great episode
Interesting take on the relationship. Hopefully no military aggression
Oh there absolutely will be.
6:53 See how smooth that high-speed rail ride is? It's connected to every single province in China, every single one.
I wonder when the US will get its first one going............ I hear probably in 2030... from Bakersfield to Merced LOL
I may not agree with giving the Chinese a platform to speak blasphemy, but I appreciate the way that this interviewer risked her life traveling to China so that we could have a glimpse, even if it's all just propaganda.
China is the safest country to travel to, unless you are a spy.

So, accordingly to this ambassador and the so called “reporter”, China is in a very fast economic decline, but yet, US companies and corporations DON’T wanna come back to the thriving American economy?..I smell BS🤢🤣🤣🤣
@ApeStimplair-et9ykis every one of your comments complete gibberish?
You must be new to that common practices of CCP policy on foreign owned company, fail to acknowledge once your private enterprise begin to make profit, a large portion need to pass on to Beijing in order to continue normal operation.
What this guy tells is what the USA does around the world.
I bet most Taiwanese would not want their hometown to become Ukraine.

Seems both nations wish to reduce the tension.
Delight to seeing such tend and development...
China has two aircraft carriers. The USA has 14.
Why is Mr.Burns so hawkish as an ambassador?
Chinese Australian ambassador said Australian would be pushed over the edge of abyss for tying to chariot of Taiwanese independence. All Australia did was congratulate the Taiwanese president elect on his victory. Diplomacy is not what we were used to.
because he is too old to fight
He's a realist, we're finally sending people that know the issue is the CCP.
@@tommohsien888 Australia recognized there is only one China. So they shouldn't have done that, there is no country called Taiwan, leave alone the Taiwanese president. You should condemn their provocation.

Communism adapted with integration of capitalism. That is what happened. Still central leadership and we are looking a lot like it these days. Reverse osmosis?
i didnt notice a single homeless person or drug addict in the park they were walking around in also if them ping pong tables were left unattended in a u s park they'd be wrecked or stolen in one day
True but there are plenty of homeless and crime in China. But they do not allow it to be shown on news cameras. Go cvheck out some documentaries that sneak and record it.
Homeless are in....reeducation camps

10:19. How embarrassing to the ambassador, when he talked down China all the time, as an American business owner hopes to see a better US China relationship.
Why the reporting going back in time though, we start at February 2024 and go back to 2019
because china is the good guy and you gotta propagandize in reverse for it not to sound completely stupid

Why focus on China instead of the USA? We have a problem here.....
We in the US have many problems, not just a problem.
Because the ccp is a threat, not just to its own people , that we all can see from history ( and still is ), but have sneaked its way, fooled the like of Kissinger, Clinton, Bush, Trump, Biden, WallStreet, and reveal its true color in recent years, showing its ambition to take over USA as strongest nation, showing its aggression against various smaller countries, to rise up as leader of the world. Americans, and the rest of the free world, need to awaken to this largest threat that is stealthy, not as visible as putin's invasion of Ukraine, but nevertheless, equally serious, if not even more widespread.
Many food chains are closed in the US.That's a problem that the US government should fix first. The US should back step their arrogance.

If Taiwan can pay for its own weapons without US aid, why can't Israel?
