Philippine Airlines PR117: Vancouver (YVR) to Manila (MNL)
Economy class seating. From boarding, to meals, and arrival. My family's flight to our motherland Philippines!
I love PAL But please change the seats they are the most uncomfortable on the planet especially for a westener.
Ever since we had to wear facemasks I have taken the headphones that are provided and I wear those then I put the elastic part on the outside of the headphones so that the elastic doesn't hurt my ears from wearing the facemasks for most of the flight. My mother in law, my wife and I always fly out of Los Angeles. Our flight on March 24th leaves at 12:15pm and arrives in Manila on 6:55pm on March 25th.
That's a good tip considering how long we have to wear the masks for on the flight.
I have flown out of LA once in my life maybe 20 years ago haha! It's a longer distance than Vancouver. I fly out of Vancouver since I live in Canada so I'm used to arriving in Manila early morning, around 4am.

I used to fly PR117 all the time from YVR but I’m in Ontario now so I fly PR119 . I love PAL. NICE VIDEO!
How I would LOVE to fly back to the Philippines again, especially via PAL! Their service is second to none even in the economy class seats :)

I believe Filipinos in Canada should know about this. Philippine Airlines charges more than any other airlines and they only allow just one check in baggage each passenger. Why? Korean Airlines on the other hand charge cheaper fare and allows 2 check in baggages each passenger. How can coming home Filipinos bring "pasalubongs" to their relatives with only 50lbs or 23 kgs each luggage. Oh by the way each empty luggage weight almost 4.5 kgs each so you can only bring 18.5 kgs of Pasalubongs. Shame on you Philippine Airlines!
@@uuxxuu5002 Hi! That is true. I noticed Philippine Airlines does charge more. I think for a few reasons, they are the direct flight to Philippines from the port airport. They also do offer an additional snack and hot face towels. Otherwise I'm sure there are more reasons.
Some flights have 2 free checked bags, some are only singular. For me, it is 2 free checked bags from North America to Philippines.

Did this come out of New York JFK because PAL Flown 777-300ERs JFK to Manila with a stop in YVR. I believe the A350s are doing that route direct JFK Manila.
I'm not sure, I know the airplane was empty when we boarded!

Totoo ba? Pag hindi ganun karami ang mga passenger ng PAL papuntang Vancouver hindi na nila tinutuloy? Yung tiyahin ko kase minsan, nag connecting flight either LAX, San Francisco, or Seattle.
CHACKA PAL-para ka lang sumakay ng Bus papuntang Laguna..Mas Bongga .pa ang Emirates sosyal..saka mga Meals ng PAL-very Kiddie Meals🤣
never again would i fly in PALs PR113...it was supposed to be a direct flight...but we ended up stopping over to Hawaii...the 13 hrs supposed to be flight became 19hrs+...it was a nightmare...good thing my flight back to LA was better in PR 102..i felt like i was in business class with the amount of leg room...
I think that happened to me about 10 years ago, PAL stopped over in HNL

Outdated sila. Nagulat ako nung boarding na ng PAL from Singapore to Manila nung inannounce na magsuot ng facemask. Eh nasa Singapore kami. Nasanay na ko na hindi nagfefacemask everywhere in Singapore. Kaya minsan onboard di na ko nagmask . Patigasan na lang ng ulo😂. Eh ayaw ko magmask eh . Bakit ba. What is covid nowadays diba?

Turbulence was not bad! The bigger planes can handle it better. More steady.
