I’m so exhausted from teaching in public schools. I’m ready to start my new career as a stay-at-home mom to my dog. 😂

Can you do a video on changing your resume from "educationy" to more broad....like with skills gained from teaching but that can transfer to other job sectors?

I genuinely want to leave... I am an ICT teacher in secondary but I am worried that I would struggle to find something else or have to do something worse. I wouldn't mind just working with small groups or something.

I just met a woman who was pouring liquor samples at a liquor store, who said she was a teacher & about to retire in June 2023.
I’ve been thinking about doing a teaching degree. I asked this woman if she’d be happy taking to me on her day off at a Starbucks.
I think my honesty freaked her out & well she took my phone number but I’m sure she won’t call.
I’m super happy I found this video. It’s very informative & “that” day can keep her liquor in the weekends for her extra bar cash!

Such a great video! I’m thinking of transitioning from teaching into another job position. You mentioned you contacted a job agency that helped you become an investment advisor and that sounds interesting. I can see myself doing that. What agency did you contact and how did you get started? I live in Canada so I just want to know what I can do here to set myself up for success. I hope to hear from you!

Hello Hannah! I am currently moving to Charlotte NC in August with my fiance all the way from Arizona! I am definitely having a lot of anxiety about what to do next and I'm not sure I want to teach in a traditional classroom anymore. I would love to hear your feedback or advice on my next steps in Charlotte. Thank youuuu! 😊

you're so sweet, thnx for the advise. I have a Bachelor's in Psychology and recently accepted to the Master's program in education at my college, so I'm very excited!!! I interviewed for a college advisor role but I realized I hated the role during the interview. It was a responsibility that I wasn't ready for. again, thank you bc sometimes we forgot that interviews are an opportunity to explore what we're looking for :)

Being an art PE or music teacher is not easier or harder than being a classroom teacher. It’s just different and quite frankly we get shot on just as much as you all so I would not list that and I would question I would question your credibility for doing so.
