This was a really sweet case. No angry outbursts, no hostility, no grudges are seen in the execution of this case. Hopefully he stays on the straight and narrow and they remain close. 😊
I respect how honest he was, texting and driving will definitely get you caught up in an accident quick. I just don't agree with the runaway from a scene of an accident, because you know good and well that's a crime.
Fit and run; leaving the scene of an accident is a felony. He’s lucky he didn’t get caught up in that especially when the accident cause that much damage. He truly doesn’t know what type of injuries the driver had
I don’t know about anyone else but That story that he told about him not being able to work inside McDonald’s because of his record and had to work outside in the parking lot to becoming a manager within months of that was deep. So many men and women have it hard when thy get a record. That testimony can help someone not to get discouraged and keep on pushing. From the Jail to parking lot to Manager to lawyer to A Judge…. 👏 👏
He uses the interruptions as “teaching moments”, encouragement & to bring awareness that it’s NOT TOO LATE. From a street kid to a JUDGE- he has earned the right to interupt😮
It took him almost dying and possibly other people dying to "turn his life around" These lame fools destroy everything around them until it starts to affect their lives.
Not impulsive because he would have never checked to see if the driver was ok and noticed he was calling 911. But he is young and still has maturing to do. ❤️
I really don't know why individuals called negativity on themselves, calling themselves the black sheep of the family; whether or not their family say they wouldn't amount to nothing or be nothing and say this or that to used their mouth and words; for death and life is in the power of one's tongue. So these negative will manifest if think negatively and or allowing others to put their negative talks against or upon your life.
Sooo can anybody that goes on this show ever say anything good about their accomplishments without JM butting in & boasting about one of the many, many great things he’s done??
Mathias he wasn't doing nothing but getting that law degree always wanna be so gangster 😅🤣🤣😂😂 good example to those wanting to make a Change from the streets .
It doesn’t sound like the defendant gave up on her cousin at all. She just got tired of tolerating his bs and enabling him. Sometimes you gotta love people from a distance

I appreciate the Defendants honesty ! The plaintiff truly loves her cousin! I hope they can repair their relationship ! ❤🙏🏽
Me too.

I bet he has the cutest chocolate babies 🥰
Very nice. Glad to see people who can act like they have sense. I applaud the two of them. Very nice energy.
They have a great relationship very mature in Handling the situation you can see there's love in their Bond
Judge Mathis is always interrupting the case to tell a story about himself 🙄
True indeed. It's like ok, let someone else get a little shine too.

Here we go messy Mathis. You did time for stealing gum in 1976. We know. We know. Then you were judge at the 36th District Court. We know.
No I didn’t know about his McDonald story. Hopefully the defendant was inspired by it since it’s something they have in common 👌🏽
Girl I hollered!! I love me some JM, but he do tell his story over and over like and Alzheimer’s patient. 😂😂😂😂. I understand why but still. 😂
He was a bubble gum thug
It took him almost dying and possibly other people dying to "turn his life around" These lame fools destroy everything around them until it starts to affect their lives.
She's such a sweet acting great attitude young lady
He doesn’t sound like the black sheep. He sounds like an impulsive person who does things without thinking about how they affect other ppl.
Not impulsive because he would have never checked to see if the driver was ok and noticed he was calling 911. But he is young and still has maturing to do. ❤️
It sounds like his family spoiled him
Yes. Exactly. That type of behavior is pathological. It takes extra effort not to eff up things like they normally do.

U need to love the person enuf to pay for the damage.
I really like the love between these two; they’re good vibes.
One of those moments where I wish things didn’t have to go to court, but it’s the only way to honestly force someone to pay.
Um,um,um,um,um,um,um,um,um,um.....um she should've informed the police of what he did and have him held accountable for his nonsense
Such a handsome young KING, I PRAY GOD CONTINUE TO KEEP COVER AND BLESS HIM IN JESUS NAME🙌🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Good to see happy endings ❤
This was a great cause. The plaintiff and defendant are well spoken.
The plaintiff is sooo adorable!!!!
420 you up smoking and you snuck and crashed the whip and ran away from the scene. can’t believe JM let him off that easy
I am too!!! I picked up on that quick! 😂…cuz was honest, but he was high too!! He just needs his job! ❤😂
When Judge Mathis identified with this young man I knew he would go light
He was honest lol
Defendant owes his cousin. No doubt about it.
Yes he does. She could have had him arrested
I really like how he handle himself ❤️
IT WAS ON #420🤨😶🤐😒😏😏😏😏🤣
So sweet❤😊
Dude left the courtroom still unaccountable. They relationship strange too.
What does him selling drugs have to do with this case ? 🤦🏾♀️
Nothing. These man-children just like to put it out there like a badge of honor.

Shows how he changed his life which is good!
Pay your cousin for her car, Manager. He is annoying. And I'm with the rest of the family, he is not going to change.
That child support killing that check 🥴🤣
Such optimism and compassion.
The defendant sounds like he doesn’t use good judgment
Not on the with the police 😂😂😂
Goofy talking bout he has to pay child support . Who’s problem is that? Pay that woman her money smh
