Mines Catless. But I run 2 long straight through resonators. Almost oem idle. But gets rowdy under 18psi of boost.

Love those Jettas I’ve got an 03 Jettawagon with the base engine wish it was the turbo like this one but it’s always been a reliable spare car so I can’t complain!

On alot of cars it will make the CEL come on because of something to do with the O2 censors...doesn't necessarily hurt the vehicle or performance tho....someone else could explain the exact reason why because I cant.

There’s some cars that will have optimal power gains from a straight pipe and others that won’t. It depends on how much your motor relies on backpressure in the exhaust system. For example, the MR2 Turbo (sw20) loses about 5hp at the crank with a straight pipe VS a performance muffler/hi flow cat. It really just depends on the car.
