Watched this right after it posted years ago but watching again, to get ideas for my own new soap shack. Sparked a new thought! Your bathroom area/shower lighting and shower shelf may be a good place to do some photography. Those white pebbles would be a cool background.

Your studio is amazing, so great to have a deticated area. I have to bring everything from my soap room to my kitchen then put it back when I’m done and sterilize my kitchen before and after. It’s definitely a lot of extra work.

Ok, I'm jealous!!! I have two rooms and 3 huge closets to house my business. I recently replaced everything from a devestating December tornado, and we are just getting everything rebought product wise. In 10 plus years you accumulate a lot of product from oils and butters, to extracts and surfactants, too containers, jars and bottles! I had to buy a new computer just to be able to access my inventory! I am very impressed by how quickly, elegantly and practically the space has become. IKEA and Costco need to sponsor you, lol! You certainly deserve that! It is a really wonderful place to create and you can see the work you've both put into the space. I especially love your packing area, I'm sure you'll be more than comfortable when you remove the Murphy bed. Sometimes an extra foot makes all the difference! It seems like a cozy spot. The dish washing area is another great area to have, I'd get a large duo restraunt sink. They are the best. Plenty of room to wash, rinse in a bleach solution and air dry. I always loved ours! Just couldn't be more impressed what you've done in such a short amount of time! Congrats! By the way from what I've seen of it, your new home is gorgeous! I missed seeing the pups in this video! I'm pretty sure Jerika has a video from fairly early that has a list of the best starter fragrances. Look back tword the begining of her videos. Maybe 6 months in? Type in Jerika Zimmerman, top 10 fragrances and it'll pop up.
I to store some of my items for soaping in pull out drawers and found it helpful to write the name of the scent in a short form you will understand on the top of the lid with a narrow sharpie marker.

I love the studio…but I do have a question…the bath bombs have very hood ventilation all around…the soaps on the other hand are on platters with no bottom venting…I thought soaps needed all around circulation…asking cause I’m new to soaping…
If you are interested I have a name of a company in Calgary that sell 50lb bags of arm A&H baking soda depending on quantity its ranges from $30-$38 a bag as I had to switch after buying BB machine so needed that brand in big quantities !
I can't remember what the product is if I don't label it! I have so many different blends, and some of them look the same but have a different aroma blend so I absolutely have to label them while they are drying...
