Worthless Vax Blade 2 Pro 24v After Refurbishment!

Remember the free unwanted Vax Blade I got given? Well, I ended up with 2, so made the 24v Cordless Miele we saw last week, and put together the bestest Vax Blade I could from what remained! Let's see if it was worth it...

I was given a blade 3 for free a few weeks back. The battery was dead after a few uses (quite common apparently). The owner didn't like the vacuum either. She said it was too heavy. Anyway i contacted Vax and after a few emails they sent me a new battery free. The longer run one off the blade 4. Its not a bad vacuum but you have to run it on max to get really good suction. The bin needs cleaning often as well or the suction dissappears even if its half full.

Always admire your hard work Sam and this is no exception however with the vax blade I can't help thinking it's like polishing a turd really 😂
But like I say my hats off to you for sorting that one

We had the blade 2 max 40v with dual cyclone and brushless motor, it had a single rubber ringed pad filter, identical to current blade one pwr series, was a good machine but after 4 years of regular use the battery was becoming weak, and the later one before one pwr had a none replableable battery, I sold it for £70 a few months ago, if it had a replaceable battery I’d have kept it, it was ok machine, although price was too high for a cheapy machine overall.

I've heard that too! Been trying to snipe a few tatty ones recently but no luck yet! Do any of the blade models have a digital motor in them?

@@beko1987 unfortunately I don't know😞, I did see comments that they were powerful enough to replace a mains vac, I think there is now a blade 5?🤔
