Baling hay 2022 with the bale baron and new pack flipper!
Baling hay 2022! It’s the earliest we’ve ever started and finished our hay as the weather has been good and dry!
The pack flipper has been a real time save as we can now just pick up the packs without having to knock them over!

Your video popped up so being as we have basically the same set up, I watched...... We have the three point hydralic power unit between the tractor and baler.....We Baled & bundled first cut, but didn't like the looks of multiple moved and stored bundles... So for speed and use of available labor .... we round bale, transport and store.... then rebale, loads as needed....One unit is mobile and one unit is stationary

Every time that hay is moved , hay falls out or is not picked up by the bailer, If you cut your hay with a cycle mower you don’t have all that hay loss

Awesome setup! What kind of preservative do you use? Does it work well?

Sorry for the late reply, we use a preservative that’s called crop saver, it’s an acid from a horses gut. It works really well, and has done an amazing job at preventing mould and the hay doesn’t really go off. Means we can bale a little bit wetter but this year that wasn’t needed!
